Ufc/Wec are his of course he wants to be marketable .

Maybe if Nick hadn't burned his bridges he'd be making more money right now. He should take a look in the mirror. Nobody wants to work somebody who has a bad attitude. the whole "play the game" comment is the reason he's broke.

who gives a fuck if he has a bad attitude, he's a fighter, his job is to fight.
it's not his job to be polite or be a nice guy.
Look at Brock lesnar, he has a real bad attitude, but he was still promoted as the UFC's #1 fighter.
Tito Ortiz had a bad attitude and it lost him his job.
a bad attitude can be a good thing or a bad thing, whatever Dana decides is best for him.
Sonnen is a perfect example, horrible attitude but look where it got him.

@highgrow Sonnen? he didnt get far at all. all that bullshit he said, and gets caught taking steroids himself. I read he has lost about 1mill dollars in future income. so he got as he deserved.

Yes, but his attitude still got him a title shot in the first place.
the steroid situation still hasn't played out.. he could be successful in the appeal.
and if he is successful.. he will be probably get and instant shot at the title or at least a #1 contender shot.. all because of his loud mouth and bad attitude.

it's all about who is best for them to promote.
Look at kimbo slice, Dana said he would only get into the UFC if he proved himself,
Kimbo went onto TUF and got fucked like an amateur. but he still got a contract because the UFC knew he was marketable.
Dana white isn't an MMA fan, he's a UFC fan.
and Strikeforce sure as hell aren't going to help change the MMA "game" with their weak promoting.
K-1 > MMA all day.

Both sports have their bad parts, K-1 is just more exiting in my opinion.
Out of my whole comment, you pick one small part to make a point of out.
My argument is why the MMA game is a joke, not which sport is better,

@highgrow i couldnt agree more about the ufc and dana part. thats all about cash, and if continuing like he has till now, im sure he will destroy the sport, just as quickly he buildt it up. Have to say i like sf, wec, bellator, dream and more. even sharkfight seemed good with lots of veterans. so no doubt the sport will grow without dana and that moneymachine. with Sonnen, i think he has dug his own grave there, and the appeal wont go anywhere. atleast i hope so for the sports sake :)

@jhs81 yeah i defintaley like watcking strikeforce more even though 95% of so-called mma fans would disagree with me. ufc is turning into a fucking soap opera justlike wwe. strikeforce is good because its all about the fighting with no BS and they have interesting match ups. theres alot of boring fighters in UFC.

@dafuksup hehe. thats so true, mate. :) MMA is a sport i could recomend even to parents and all other boxing fans. but couse UFC got the biggest part, and dana himself sais that "there is no friends in the ufc", hi digs his own grave. This sport should be about respect for the athletes, and that i think all the competition of ufc is managing lots better than themself. If he thought of the sport instead og cash, he would have started a competition between the diffrent organisations champs.

@dafuksup StrikeForce has yet to disappoint me...unlike countless UFCs...the UFC who has the "top Fighters" yet when those top fighters fight i find myself fallin asleep (Frank Mir vs CroCop)...and fights that look gr8 on paper but the fighters are so afraid to fight.(Melvin G. vs Jeremy Stephens)..i dont see that in StrikeForce or DREAM...theres only a handful of fighters i like in the UFC that dont fight to win decisions but go out to fight and WIN...Lytle, Leben, Condit Nate Diaz ..

Dana is a huge MMA fan lol The man watches every organization there is looking for fighters, he has signed people from Deep Dream Zst Sengoku Pancrase Bellator and Every other little and mid size show He knows people you can only google. People sign contracts with other orgs or dont wanna leave there country he spends time talking to these people convincing them to come over when they are looking to resign, give him some props. Ufc/Wec are his of course he wants to be marketable .

Dana doesn't find anyone.. the scouts that work for the UFC find them.
As for him being a fan, in one of his videos blogs he was talking with lorenzo and he didn't know King Mo lawal's name.
King mo is a huge prospect for the future and Dana doesn't even know his name.
I remember a while back in a Q&A on MMAjunkie george's live stream, he basically said there is nobody outside of the UFC that is top contender, that just shows his ignorance towards MMA.

@highgrow Dana said the only reason he did not sign Mo early on was he didn't want another Sokoudjou debacle he knew of mo from sengoku only reason he acts like he doesn't care is strikeforce offered mo a contract, From a business perspective he is smart to not to not give other companies credit. explain how he knows people like Riki Fukuda and Tie Quan Zhang he follows mma. When my friend and I asked for autographs he was watching Wicky/Tokoro fight on his phone lol

I don't think its a coincidence that he used the phrase "play the game". Dana White was asked a month or so ago about signing Nick and his response was Nick need to learn to "play the game" a little bit. I guess this is Nick's way of saying he is ready to "play the game" and join the UFC and make some real money. It would be awesome to have him in the UFC.

let's call it spade a spade, Nick only chance in this fight is take Noons down and submit him otherwise Noons would light him up on the feet, I mean Nick may have improved his boxing skills but Noons is a pure boxer who's doing boxing whole his life and competed in boxing while not fighting MMA
