As far as octaves go, everyone's range diminished with age. Octaves don't make a singer either. It's about style and soul. Aretha franklin steal sells out and shows out with every show. Her performance at the Capital Fourth was great and her rendition of National Anthem on it was in my opinion the greatest ever. Be thankful she's still around.
