Sure Lamborghini is a superb car, but dollar for dollar, I would take a Viper for sure. 600HP on the new 2008 Viper for under 90 grand as oppose to spending over three times as much for very little added HP over the Viper. I love the Viper!

Your wronge on the HP. Here is the stats, I read up on both cars. Lamborghini Murcielago, 0-60 MPH in 3.8 Seconds. Top Speed, 205 MPH. Dodge Viper 2008. 0-60 in 3.5 Seconds! and top speed of 202 MPH.

As you can see, the Viper actually beats the LM from 0 - 60 and as far as top speed, the LM only wins by 3 MPH! So, considering the money difference between the two cars, I'm willing to lose 3 MPH and take my Viper anyday for a few hundred grand less. =)

And that is the whole thing. Lambo = guaranteed luxury and speed. Vipers are more about brutal torque and power, less finesse than a Lambo, not to mention new LP640's are almost 100% carbon fiber these days. I'd take a Lambo any day if I had the cash.
