Les combats de vaches sont une chose complètement naturelle, sans aucune violence. Elles le font aussi en nature, et le combat se termine toujours sans effusion de sang.
No panic animal friend's, it's not dangerous or insane for cows. It's their natural instinct to show other cows who's the best. Bull fight is a folklore in my region (Valais, Switzerland). It's only dangerous for the humans who are too near the fight.
And don't define this like "shit" pleas, just respect the tradition of my own country... Thanks
It's important for the cows do those fight. They do it anyway, but humans put them together earlier, so they don't fight later up in the alps, where it is more dangerous. It's to establish hierarchy of the herd. And for the owner it's of course nice to see if his cow wins or not, so they do a festival around it. It's not animal fighting. It's cows wrestling and people watching. And the bells are important, so that you can find the cows when they are all up in the alps, free range. Geez.
But there is no blood (well maybe a scratch or bruise) and no violence and certainly no death. Just normal fights between cows to establish hierarchy, which is important. ^^' Switzerland has one of the worlds most (if not THE most) strict animal welfare law. Those cows are well treated. Get educated about cow behaviour. Get educated about swiss animal welfare law and get lost.

FYI, Ilived in Verres(AO) and attended these all over the valley. The animals are well cared for and there are no casualties. Beautiful to watch.

It's obvious, the animals are well and well cared for. The festival is something the cows make the people do -- not the other way around.
So how to I go about getting a piece of championship cheese?
