And the crisp glass of Procecco on departing the gig was a nice finish - and it was a clear night, one could see the Galtee's in the background.. hmm.. yes I look forward to the doc indeed. Looks like I'm going to Cork soon! It looks absolutely amazing and I can't wait! I actually considered attending that gig but I didn't go! It was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Damn! :(
@fasoredlok You probably wouldn't need a PA. I've put on gigs in old style concert theatres with teared soft fabric seating - full of people, and one guitarist doesn't need a PA. If the audience isn't also drinking and socializing, it's easy. In a cave, I would imagine the acoustics are amazing. If you've ever heard a sax played in an old fashioned tiled wash room... multiply that effect by a factor of 100!
What a perfectly beautiful setting for Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh's music. Can't wait to see more! I'm especially looking forward to hearing Lisa Hannigan in that location!
