Downloaded the skype app from the app store but i find it crashing all the time.

Worth making sure you are using 2.2.1 software version on your iphone also have you done a hard reset on the phone since you downloaded it? you can do this by press and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button together for 10 secs? i have been using the app each day since this video without issues, But remember its on version 1 there may be some bugs to iron out.

Your so right about Fring having absolutely crap call quality! The delays plus the echoing, not to mention how it rarely actually connects to calls left me not even using it. Again you hit the nail on the head with the Push Notifications. I found myself using Skype forgetting it was an app, only to find myself hanging up on the other person! lol
