Disney got rid of Alien Encounter because too many parents complained about it being too scary for their kids (even when there were many warnings prior to the attraction actually starting about the possibilities of it being too intense for young kids), yet they put in something not as scary to kids, yet it still seems a bit intense for kids. Just let Universal bring back Alien Encounter!
They've always complained.. especially when it was under the direction of the xs corporation for Alien Encounter extraTERRORestrial. I miss the very dark humor and the 'real' feeling of the experimentation with a teleportation screw up. But what do I know... it's not like any true Disney fans are gonna miss 20,000 leagues under the sea, Body Wars, Cranium Command, or even 'Food Rocks'... yup... what do I know...?
To people who got scared on this version of the ride, how is it scary? It's freaking stitch a little blue ball of destruction! He doesn't kill anyone, he just spits in peoples faces, steals someone's chili dog, and invades cinderella's privacy at the end! It's not that big of nightmare fuel!

Considering there are only 2 scenes, it's not really that unheard of that you kept seeing the same one. It actually has 2 theaters as well, perhaps one theater plays the Cinderella's Castle scene while the other plays the Astro Orbiter.

I am sure there are two theaters because each show in them is twice as long as the other parts and they want to keep people moving as if there really is an emergency situation.The shoulder restraints that are "scanners" have special covers for when they are broken, and some that I have seen say "temporarily seized" and have the XS-TECH logo from Alien Encounter. Others have the Galactic Federation seal, the current logo for the attraction.

You sit down in this chair type device, and when certain stuff happens it will mess with the senses, such ass you might feel Stitch jump on your chair, or you might hear (fake "passenger" say some thing, or you might feel a blast of water, it is supposed to be that dark, it isn't really an attraction that portrayed well in movie, its sooooo much better when your there in person

Imagineering really screwed up with this ride. People don't like to be trapped and have things touching them in the dark, they don't like to be burped on, and they don't like water unexpectedly sprayed at them. Just because it's Stitch doing all that doesn't make it enjoyable. And they especially don't like those things because most people go in expecting a cute, kid-friendly, not-scary ride. I love Stitch, but like most people, I don't like this ride. I'll ride it, but only if the line's short.

I've never been, but I've heard many complaints:
Stitch scares the kids.
The Breath part is sickening.
It's too dark (Which looks true)
The shoulder harness is very uncomfortable.

A lot of things don't make sense about this ride... Why was Pleakley working in that section of the Galactic Federation? Wasn't he a scholar? And how does Stitch know how to talk? Annnnd why does he call himself Stitch? Lilo named him that /after/ he arrived on earth.
Oh well, anything for recognizable characters/names I guess...

I can't wait to go on this ride when i go to WDW! But the thing I don't get is why would they have the only sh*t your pants scary ride in Disney World(Alien Encounter)and people think it's gonna last that long in the MK,which is a FAMILY park?It looked really out of place,in my opinion, but it would have been a kick a** attraction to ride!

Imagineering really screwed up with this ride. People don't like to be trapped and have things touching them in the dark, they don't like to be burped on, and they don't like water unexpectedly sprayed at them. Just because it's Stitch doing all that doesn't make it enjoyable. And they especially don't like those things because most people go in expecting a cute, kid-friendly, not-scary ride. I love Stitch, but like most people, I don't like this ride. I'll ride it, but only if the line's short.

That's 'cause there's nothing to see. Most of it is dark, while 'Stitch' does things to you like messing with your hair, burping on you, etc.

The ride that used to be here was soooooo much better, it was called Alien encounter and was scary as hell.
it was like the only adult ride in disney, they got rid of it because parents complained it was too scary, its not as if they didnt have warning signs EVERYWERE.
