  • thanks you Mister yairi to built those wonderfull guitars with so much love from the bottom of your heart. We will love your guitars our whole life Oggy from France

  • I have two Yairi guitars now and my next guitar will probably be a Yairi as well!

  • Hello anyone interested in a 1979 LEO J-10? I bought one a year ago on Ebay and it is incredible, but I really only play electric. So it sits. Message me if you are interested and I can either email you pics or list it on EBAY. You can ck me out on Ebay at choobr549--I have sold alot of stuff and know how to ship guitars. CONUS only thoough

  • this narrator has no idea how to pronounce the name "Kazuo Yairi"

  • The best things in this world are built with integrity. Great work!!!!

  • i want to hug that man

  • ロラン映らなかったね(´・ェ・`)

  • After seeing the factory tour I feel ashamed for never having considered getting a Yairi.

  • I walked into a second hand shop about 20 years ago, and saw a DY61 hanging on the wall. It had had a tough life, the spruce around the hole was worn from bad strumming technique, but the frets were good. When I played it I just had to have it, fortunately it was seriously underpriced and it is still (even tho I also have an S Yairi dreadnought which is awesome too) my favourite guitar.

  • I'm sold!

  • All acoustics on American Idiot by Green Day were recorded with these guitars.

  • Thank you, this is the first time i've heard a luthier refer to the precious or sacred quality of trees!

  • These are top guitars which old their own against any other brand. Thanks for positing this. Yairi is a secrete top guitar manufacturer. At least here in Germany, almost not known or traded ...

  • Sweet guitars man....

  • fantastic

  • Mr. Kazuo Yari, my thanks. I have never owned, much less played, a guitar such as my DY91C. The tone the Kao sides and Spuce top produces is incredible. Add to that the fireburst depth of the finish really makes for a true beauty. Well done!

  • Just bought a LEO-J10 made in 1979 awesome1

  • Wow Know wonder I get so many complements on the DY-85 that I play. An I couldn't agree with Yairi more about hand made quality. Thanks alot for posting this tour of the factory. God Bless

  • Ohh...if anyone knows where there is a 12 string Yairi for sale....please private message me. Im looking to buy one....if I can find one. :o)

    Love those Yairis!!

  • I was once called a liar because I said I bought a brand new BLUE K Yairi back in 1984. Well, Im no liar, and I still have my blue baby. Its getting better with age! A bit like a fine wine. And Ive been fortunate enough to buy another one identical except it is not blue but is sunburst. Thanks ebay! I do love them! Now I have one each to leave both of my sons. Saves them fighting about it. :o) Great to see where they actually come from. Thanks for posting this video.

  • I have an old Yairi Nagoya, I think 1968, it is amazing, bought it for $2, what a bargain

  • i am a luthier, only making about 12 guitars a year, and what this man does is brilliant.he seems to really care more about the guitar than the money making.he could easily cut costs and produce larger volumes, but chooses not to.

  • I've got some excellent stuff, les paul custom, Ovation, old Jackson soloist... and then I got Yairi DY 88 advanced acoustic and it blew me away. This guitars are WAY in different league. Actually first thought was "Damn I can't play" it has such a brilliant and dynamic sound, it makes you feel like you've been playing with commpressor all your life.

  • LOVE the video! Wish I could save it to my hard drive, so I could watch it at will (and not so jerky).

Thanks to Kazuo Yairi for his years of making wonderful guitars!

The Alvarez brand, and the Alvarez Yairi brand are not the same.. only the guitars that have the AY logo on the headstock are made as those above (unless, it is one of Kazuo Yairi's other brands, such as his K.Yairi models). Also, Alvarez do not use bone nut and saddles, but TUSQ..which is big improvement over plastic!

  • @yairiluvr My Alvarez Masterworks MD60C uses a bone nut and saddle.. the smell is very distinct from my other guitars which use Tusq!

  • Are the Alvarez guitars made in China built the same way?

  • @kapitch My Alvarez Masterworks MD60C is made in China, and there are a few key differences between the Yairi and Masterworks (Alvarez's top-of-the-line made-in-china) series. First, the Masterworks are assembly-line built. Second, the Masterworks do not incorporate the Yairi bridge system. But all this means a lesser price tag for a guitar that is tonally nearly identical to the higher-priced Yairi's. The Masterworks are a great sounding line of guitars for around $750

  • does k yairi use nitro finish on the g1f parlour guitar? having real trouble finding out. help!!

  • Wow yairi has got it right, I have an Alvarez and never knew all that work went into it, just knew that it sounded great. Now im really proud to have one.

  • Thanks.

    Jay
