Are there any wav file samples available for BBE pedals? I use a opto stomp for my bass and a sonic stomp for both acoustic and electric guitar. Both are very useful and easy to adjust.
I really like my Soul Vibe, MindBender and Optostomp. But my MindBender is stuck in vibrato mode. I asked about it at the shop I bought it at and they didn't know what to do. Is it possible to fix this myself or do I need to send it in? My only complaint about my BBE's is that they are a tad noisy. But the soul vibe kicks butt over any uni-vibe sounds in any of my multi-effects (although the M13 still rules)
BBE=major hiss...The only BBE pedal I use is the Sonic Stomp for recording bass guitar. I've tried several others and they are very noisy. Buy Fulltone or Electro Harmonix and save yourself the headache.
Well i guess you could say that i am absolutely SOLD on most "BBE" products as i have the "BBE SonicStomp", "BBE AcoustiMax Preamp" Acoustic Guitar Studio Console and the "BBE GreenScreamer" and since i have just finished watching BBETV Videos on the "Mind Bender" & "AM64" & "Soul Vibe" i have made up my mind that i will indeed purchase these Units in (6)weeks time IF "BBE" will take my first addition "GreenScreamer" and thoroughly check it the Chinese Circuit installation & refinish like new??
hi, i own and love this pedal. in the manual, it doesn't say the current draw of this pedal, it only mentions the dc inlet of 200ma, can you please tell me the current draw of this pedal? thanks, i also have the sonic maximizer, another excellent product
"cheap" sounding? You've got to hear these in person. BBE pedals are excellent pedals with great value=performance ratio. The Boosta Grande is the best clean boost pedal for the money on the market. The Green Screamer and Soul Vibe perform just as well. Great pedals for a reasonable price. Can't go wrong.
@breeze3003 Thanks! The fact that they are not so expensive may lead some people to expect less. When you consider the the quality components, thoughtful engineering, robust build quality and of course the tone, these deliver far more than they cost. However, we've got a lot of experience to draw on, both with electronics and instruments. We're G&L too, after all, so it shouldn't be too surprising. - Dave
@breeze3003 This guy hit it right on the head. The green screamer has replaced my early 80's ts9, and definetly won the shootout against my maxon 808. The soul vibe?!!?!?!? Are you freaking kidding me! BEST PEDAL EVER. I cant even begin to describe how great it sounds... and i hate to say this to all the vintage nuts, but good luck finding a Uni-Vibe with the consistency of the Soul Vibe.
@organeyes11 As does anything coming through computer speakers, but even allowing for that (the classic YouTube excuse) we're working on getting better recordings that do the product justice.. Stay tuned and we'll have more on the MB.
@organeyes11 When listening using high quality studio reference caliber headphones and streaming in 480p, this pedal sounds anything but cheap. I had never heard of the Mind Bender, but I’m definitely sold!
@organeyes11 It's well made and all analog. If you don't like analog choruses, I can understand. But it's by no means a poorly designed pedal. It's certainly not a lazy digital copy.
@fendermac@fendermac Ah, that hurts LOL! Well, the high E is a bit flat on the rush demo, isn't it? By the way, I've watched some of your videos before, and glad to see you've popped in here. All the best - Dave
brilliantly done love the foot work to lol wish someone would do this while playing the harmonica its so hard to find the right sounding ped.
