It's hard not to believe there's a conspiracy against electric cars, when you watch a clip like this and then read all the specs for various electric cars with this post. What the heck is going on????
mobil, exxon, BP, shell. that's where the problem is... do you really think that an electric car is going to be made to the general public? term limits for our REPRE$ENTATIVE$....
this is why no new technology. it's there, you're just not going to see it in our lifetime...
I'm sitting here trying to design an electric / solar car with style, range and the best technology. My only problem is how to ... keep the design or make use of it. [i.e. not have it stolen, make money from it]
In the early 20th and late 19th century electric cars were in majority and gasoline ones a minority. Gasoline cars became common first as electric car industries were bought up by the oil companies and transformed into gasoline car production.
fact is we can do it now, but we all know why we don't, a tiny little car like that wouldn't be allowed on the roads now, and the large cars wiegh so much that lead acid batteries don't give much range, and we all know who owns the right and controls the price to the better battery techs. Everyone sees it as a way to get rich off the public need so they sell it to the highest bidder, which will always be the comp. with the largest profits, who is that...
We did, they were into production from GM,then Chevron bought the patent from them. Chevron burries the technology fromt he world, and continues to increase the prices of oil.

Free Energy is real and its here but the coverup is strong, if u are interested in a REAL free energy machine then
just go to LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and download the blueprints ,it is probably the ONLY working magnet
motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

don't be jealous. He would be run over like that in few days later if he did.

now i'm pissed!!!!
--25 mph, 5 hours of ride charge, 1 hour to recharge,
..in 1948 :O ????
what is our problem????
--oh right, we are all busy reading shakespeare instead of learning about electricity

I know exactly how you feel.
Take a look at Jay Leno's 1909 Baker Electric

Makes you feel like histories moving backwards.

cool, wow, millionaires are pretty much the only ones who have them eh?
--i'm working on a bedini that will power an EV conversion, hopefully :P

Keep me posted on the Bedini EV.
I've always been a great fan of his work.
Be nice to see someone like yourself put it to good use.

i'm thinkin it's way easier to just make an electric dune buggy
--rather than converting, just make a simple rear wheel drive oversized go-cart
100+ volts on-demand... first the house, then the car :P

What goes around comes around.
Take a look at the Israeli initiative on electric cars on YouTube.
Gas guzzling cars have had their day.
The electric car is here to stay!

lets see 25mph and 5hrs run time = 125mile range?
mielectric1 3 years ago
1p per mile
1 hour charge time
25mph
5 hours running time
125 mile range
One 12v battery
Not bad for a car built in 3 weeks in 1948, so why can't we do it now ?

technicly speaking tzero's specs are:
0-95% charge in one hour
90 miles per hour (single gear ratio 9:1)
155 miles per hour (multi gear ratio)
0 to 60 mph in 4.07 seconds
range 300 miles
even those numbers however are not the best result we would have gotten if electric cars would evolve along with the conventional cars.
let's not forget that electric cars had an evolution gap of almost 60 years! (60 years is what took eniac to evolve into laptops and netbooks! )

1p per mile and charging by an extension cord, things have'nt changed much have they. The new Smart EV does exactly the same.
