@jimithebollix Well they were big Oasis fans, and obviously the style change and cutting of there hair had to come from somewhere, alternative music. Look at the inside of Load my man, and see if that's' the real Metallica who went from long hair metal, to alterna-metal while the pictures inside show them, smoking cigars in classy suits, eye make up, black painted finger nails, just like Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson etc. It effected ALL metal, but they went with it.
