My canon sd 1000 elf powershot has bad in flash nowdays, I am getting brownish colour in my pictures not the lighter colour it use to gave me when i bought almost three years ago. How can i fix that? Please replay my question. thank you

Terribly frustrating camera.

Slow shutter speed when it comes to trying to capture a moving object or when you're trying to capture an 'in-the-moment' shot.

Horrible quality in low-light settings and gets really noisy when you increase the ISO.

I do not suggest this camera at all.

SD 1000 has a sleek design and bricklike, the new SD1100 IS has a little more megapixels but 7.1 from the sd 1000 is just enough and the new has one new feature Image Stablization but I've been using my sd 1000 and the pictures turned out great.

I highly recommend this one instead of the SD1100. Even some of the top reviewers have recommended it. Supposedly the 1100 is slower or something.

the sd750 is way way better, it has everything that the sd1000 has and more! the 750 has a 3' LCD that is scratch resistant. the 750 is slimmer and lighter. The 750 feels sturdier and feels less toy like than the sd1000. the sd750 has much more features and and is a better quality. Get the 750 because it is just BETTER !

You get about the same features with the SD1000 for almost a hundred dollars less. Get the SD1000, you won't be sorry. Unless you're going for looks, then the 1100 is sexier. Read CNET's review of the 1100, even they recommend the 1000 over the IS 1100.

Good question. This all depends on the size of your Gig card. :)

A 1 Gig card on my mom's Canon SD 630 is over 9 minutes. (I find it perfect for the movies/ videos I make on Youtube.)

I don't know which camera to get the Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 or the Canon Powershot SD1000 the Sony can take up to 340 pictures. The Canon takes up to 210, but Canon is widley more respected I guess can you guys help me?

i have canon sd 850 and it is great, very sharp, clear and bright but i dont like the color saturation, in other hand, sony, they have best color saturation i've known.. i mean if it's red it's really red but on canon the color is kinda white look.

I bought this camera and am a bit disappointed with it.

First of all there is shutter lag, when the camera uses the flash. Sometimes i need to take a few pics as they arent that great.

Secondly the camera, while said to have good picture quality in low lights is actually really bad. I find that in 50 percent of my shots in low light that im getting vignetting, dark corners.

Its best pictures are taken outside, where the pictures maintain sharpness and colour.

Any camera has to recycle his flash when powered on and after a flash shot, this has nothing to do with shutter lag....If you want clear indoor shot you have to know the limitation of the small lens/sensor/flash, first and mosltly important you should never zoom in when in low light condition if you want good quality(zoom with your feet) and try not to use ISO higher then 200. The SD1000 is a great little camera but it has limitations.
