The fetus was already dead, it slipped out of the uterus and was lodged somewhere it wasn't supposed to be and thus died, it was two months into gestation, and thus labor could not be induced to deliver the dead baby like it would have been done in later months. Jackie's husband at the time was a physician, and while they did everything they could to save the fetus, her husband informed her it was dead and had to be taken out.

That of course wouldn't get us out of debt completely, just out of unsecured (ie Credit card debt), but not Social Security, Medicare, State Deficits, veterans benefits, federal pensions, or secured debt (financed home loans, etc), or any of the debt of citizens that would have been in default for a year.

You do realize that the vast majority of late-term abortions (such as the one Speier described in this video) are done on fetuses that were wanted children but turned out to be hideously malformed, sometimes to the point of lacking the vital components of a functioning nervous system? Google "anencephaly," one of the most common reasons for late term abortions.
I don't agree with late term abortions since the fetus is mostly formed and could survive outside the womb. I do know a few women who had late term abortions who live to regret it. Still, I do not like late term abortions, unless it's as you specified, most cases r due to malformation.

She didn't have a "procedure," she killed her baby. At least she was right when she said she lost her baby, because no one asks a pregnant woman, "so, how is the fetus growing? How is that little bundle of tissue doing?" We all know it is a baby, and at least she had the guts to call the child a baby, and not one of the euphemisms of the pro-abortion lobby.
And she was right in that Planned Parenthood does have a legal right to operate, but it has no right to use tax dollars to kill babies.

@travisreems I don't think you know the whole story. The fetus was already dead, it slipped out of the uterus and was lodged somewhere it wasn't supposed to be and thus died, it was two months into gestation, and thus labor could not be induced to deliver the dead baby like it would have been done in later months. Jackie's husband at the time was a physician, and while they did everything they could to save the fetus, her husband informed her it was dead and had to be taken out.

Those statistics also leave out all the other damage from illegal abortion: infection, scarring, infertility...
The abortion rate per 1000 women age 19-45 in 1973 was 16.3. In 2008 it was 19.6. It didn't increase to anywhere near the degree you claiming. Stop lying.

@MolterFamily PP is a health care provider, and is bound by law to teach medically accurate information. This rules out about 99% of the ridiculous body of rhetoric about sex, contraception, and gender roles that is taught in school as "abstinence-only sex education."
I can't, but the FBI and GAO can. PP keeps their abortion revenue stream completely separate from their general expenditures, and no executive has ever been convicted of financial fraud or mismanagement.

What do you mean by "teach abstinence"? Planned Parenthood does inform those who seek information that it is an option and what its potential benefits and drawbacks are. PP is even better than many abstinence-only programs because they make clear exactly what abstinence is. Many teenagers falsely believe that oral, anal, or even pulling out constitute "abstinence."
The GAO has thoroughly kept PP accountable for how they spend money. Abortions are in an entirely separate wing.

Also, the main thing she "exposes" about PP in this video is that they give chemical abortions in order to improve women's access to abortion.
Note that she doesn't say anything about use of Title X funds to fund abortion, which is actually the issue here.

To end a program that helps millions of people based on exaggerations and probable lies from one individual who had a "vision" n now prob makes money from it is absurd. IDK one woman who's had an abortion joyfully. Abortions will increase due to PP defunding. That's not hard to understand.

1/3 (33%) of all the tax revenues in this country go to paying INTEREST ONLY on our debt, people need to face facts, and not try to hide behind the arguments of the past, and keep digging a hole assuming we will be able to get out someday.
If EVERY dollar that was made in this country was paid toward the national debt, instead of buying food, insurance, utilities, salaries, ANY THING, it would still take 1 full year, to completely pay off our debt, if we could stop the interest for that year.

You do realize that the vast majority of late-term abortions (such as the one Speier described in this video) are done on fetuses that were wanted children but turned out to be hideously malformed, sometimes to the point of lacking the vital components of a functioning nervous system? Google "anencephaly," one of the most common reasons for late term abortions.

My fourth grader has a better knowledge of the human reproduction system. You can not give birth to a child - that would be like Aliens - prenatal human life at 17 weeks is called a fetus, after birth, it's a baby - ok - maybe it was an emotional synonym - but generally, a fetus grows in the UTERUS - it only moves through the CERIX into the VAGINA at birth - not vice versa, again - maybe she's confused - definite need for an eduction overhaul in the US though - keep PP!

Family planning is a eugenic operation operation from top to bottom. It was founded by eugenic trash, and it's funded by eugenic trash.
There's a very good reason that the same people who support Family Planning also support the Global Warming Fraud, what they really support is GENOCIDE. They're called Malthusians. Carbon taxation is what's called "rent taking" in the Malthusian dialect.
