Beautiful country, i have 60 acres on TATA creek. I just shot a nice 180 inch mulie buck on the land. Great Video!!!

Yes, the Camera was on its way out...it died that day at the top of the hill...so I had to pull out my other Sony HDD cam to finish up the hunt.

Nice area, I hunt in the Radium Love the area but lots of Grizz.

I was using a Sony DV Cam for the first part with the "head noise" and after it screwed up and quit I switched over to my Sony HDD Barrel Cam.

I am now using a Panasonic Full HD cam that works pretty good too.

It is a beauty area as is Radium...Grizz are kule too

You should look to try and get some kule footage of some Grizzly...lots of people never see them and would love to see.

you really have some cool vids. that is some great country. glad to have people like you to vid the hunts and outdoors and wildlife. lets people really see what they are missing. I bet you have some incredible and awesome adventures that are just as majestic as my excursions...but you would undoubtably enjoy some of the scenery and sights of these neck of the woods here too.

This one was not to far...but a lil tough though...I think it was about 7 miles total maybe...but well worth the wet and worn out feet...I always sleep great after those hikes ahaha

reminds me of a hunt/hike i do here only yours is 4 times more UP ..like on your hunt I always see loads of animals and dont shoot ...still come down happy ..nice vid. did you smash the other cam with a hammer when you looked at the vid lol

It is more about the views and memories than the harvests for me...and sounds like you have similar beliefs.

I didn't smash it with a hammer...but I couldn't get the Video out of it so I did end up after carefully workin on it for long time...I took needle nose plyers to it and it is now officially a "parts cam" LOL

You mountain hunters are some tough SOB's, LOL. Us flatlanders don't have to submit ourselves to that "punishment". But some of us (me) would love to!  Good call on the camera change and great video. Did you get one, eventually?

I don't have to go do those hikes...none of my friends want to do it...but I love it...you can see places and things that most only dream of.

I harvested a nice Billy last year in this Region and decided to let them go this year...I saw many Beautiful Goats...some to far, some to hard and lots that i just let go...I think I saw 51 Goats in total on this trip...pretty good hunt

yeah haha it does sound like a sprinkler at the beginning, then later at like 4 min i swear it sounds like somebody sawing a board with a hand saw lol, for such a worn out camera u still got the high quality option on yt, must be an expensive cam.

It is one of those (or was LOL) Sony DV cams.

It sure worked well for what it went thru...I dropped it in a lake 2 yrs ago and it still worked after drying it out for a couple weeks...but had that rubbing, ticking, sawing sounds to it ever since LOL

But it is a "parts cam" now!

it was somewhere in Washington State...i know i have a pic of the ridgeback that led to the goats and one of me with a gallon of wine but i'm not sure what happened to the picture of goats (they were pretty small in it)....

I know what you mean about small in the pictures...when I was a kid out on the ocean on a Commercial Fishing Troller near Alaska I took some pictures of Whales...they looked like they could swim over and eat us...but in the pics they just look like dots practically LOL

It is great that you tried to get the pics...as that is a GR8 memory and well worth the effort : )
