  • your knobs are at the wrong side.

  • @HugoEno1 maybe you have your eyes inverted : )

  • @overmindeticsilence I think you're right. I was already shocked.

  • hell yeah- sounded good.

  • This is really cool man, keep up the good work.

  • what a phukn loada croc! ive made better tune typing in my chipnpin! whats more disturbing is the guys skanking to it!

  • an entertaining mash-up, but not impressive...

  • very cool! I really dug the way flim was mixed into!

  • I hate hearing Flim over Mt St Michael. But interesting.

  • Hmm, i really dont wanted to sound rude or negative freddypogo...my opinion is that i believe that you can do better than that. Keep on. :)

  • Its just some samples from Drukqs+some filters.

Theres nothing special about it, just Aphex compositions, of course...

  • is that tim exile??

    lol

  • Of course he's using ableton! You guys are all R-Tards! This is cake stuff. There's nothing spectacular this video does except show how great of a DJ tool Ableton is. the APC40 was built by Akai for use with Ableton. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what he's doing. I bet all the knob twiddling was just him using the DJ Master Channel filter.

  • You should totally share with me the software-y things you did to prepare this. What controls what and the like.

    This seems really masterfully made.

  • damn, this si so fucking good!!! n_n

    i love it

    greetings form mexico (Y)

  • nice track selection ! love aphex!!!

Do you use ableton or another vst host ?

And please what soft do you use in the beginning of your song to make the acid sound (tb303like)....they sound so aphexlike !!!!

thanks a lot and keep it on i wanna see the rest of it !!!

  • I'm guessing here, on wild speculation, that he's using Ableton Live. The sound at the start sounds like the slowed down Aphex twin track (I think it's St Michaels Mount or something like that).

  • That was samples of Aphex... that's why it sounded so aphexlike ;)

Complex modulation/automation and manually tweaking of filters and envelopes is what makes acid, really.

  • @willywooba

ok i thought it was a "real" reconstruction

    without samples

    now i'm a bit disappointed....

It still is a nice job but clearly not a great one.

  • Joli mec !
