  • DEA GO AWAY!

  • its a joke to make the arguement its not the same substance as it was in the 60's. have scientists genetically modified it? just World of Seeds, and they only have a couple strains that do not exceed 25% thc. generally speaking, people oppose modifying cannabis genetics.the methods of growing it have allowed humans to get the highest potential thc possible from the PLANT. we might as well debate the deeper principle of how many lives it has ended vs tobacco and alcohol (both federally funded).

  • Vote and support Progressive-Democrats who are leading the fight to re-legalize Cannabis in the U.S.!

  • "theres just no dobut about it that thee uhhh, uhh, drug cartels, n drug organizations, are very much involved in the production n' sell of marijuana"

No fucking shit genius, why not talk about WHY they're involved in it? Because average people dont wanna go to jail, legalize it and nobodys getting shot over street corners to sell it and cartels wont have a reason to be involved in it, because people could buy it at their local coffee shop

  • Definition of DOPE;

In a legal context, a narcotic drug is simply one that is totally prohibited, or one that is used in violation of strict governmental regulation, such as PCP and marijuana. From a pharmacological standpoint, it is a vague and ineffectual term.[2] On the other hand, the legal usage of the word does provide a convenient shorthand term, useful in contexts where the legal status of a drug is considered more pertinent than its pharmacological action.

  • dopes

  • i actually like it how it is right now just the medi card but if the dea cud actually stop the law should stay the same

  • big pharma won't have it - it will affect their profits and they live in a profits above people mind set

  • I'm so glad this proposition exists. I hope it pasts.

  • Im not completly in agreement of the prop. I think the people should have some say in how high the taxes can be raised. But I think its ridiculus that every single statement said by the opposition was false and or obscured. Dispappointed in the revenue. anything is better than no revenue. 150$ an ounce will wipe out black market sells. 250 an ounce min for kush on the BM. ANd from 7:28 and up shouldnt even be responded to because its almst completly false.

  • 08:17 ... straight out exaggerated lie.

  • Dope is for dopes.

  • @steroidsR4losers dope is for dopes, because dope means heroin. inform yourself on the topic you choose to bash next time.

  • @captainkeif

Dope is for dopes and pot is called dope. If you smoke pot, you are a dope. Anyone who defends these drugs is a loser, dope.

  • This makes me happy

  • If you live in California, VOTE!

  • nov 2 legalize it cali

  • Everything the cops said is false. Fucking legalize it already so people can see everything is fine.. SIGH

  • marijuanais4losers

  • @steroidsR4losers is everything for losers or are you just a dumbass?

  • @steroidsR4losers I can tell your one of those guys who is better then everyone else because you believe anything that people put in a position of power over you believe

  • what was that commercial all abbout in the beggining? lol

  • prohibited cannabis for 70 years. It will also mean very bad things for patients who I guess pro Prop. 19 people haven't come to realize. Prop. 19 doesn't say whether or not it will precede 215 and if you know anything about America, you know when a bill doesn't specify it's screwing somebody. Vote NO on Proposition 19, if you haven't read the bill you have no real say in whether or not the bill should pass unless you want to make an ignorant vote, which will make it worse for all.

  • @MadManApothecary Suck a nigger dick it's progress for the weed consumer. I don't care that your small weed shop is going out of business you motherfucker.

  • @TTUsucks88 You are a real winner. I bet you have read the bill and know what it says. You seem very educated.I dont own a weed shop,if anything I am nothing more than a patient. Read Prop. 19, it doesnt legalize weed. Matter of fact with the passage of sb 1449 it won't do anything but screw everyone and get non-medicinal users out of a $100 dollar fine for anything under an ounce while making anything over an ounce a criminal issue STILL. Read b4 you decide, think b4 you speak,& watch ur mouth

  • @MadManApothecary That's still progress. I almost never tote around an ounce of weed on me. If I do it right now, I'm in trouble with the law. If Prop 19 passes, I won't be in trouble. I don't see how that's a bad thing; it may not be 100% legalization, but what's wrong with legalizing it to an extent?

  • @TTUsucks88 There's nothing wrong with it, as long as long as you call it what it is. "Legalization to an extent" is basically like Decriminalization. SB-1449 made 1 ounce of cannabis punishable by up to a $100 fine, if Prop. 9 passes you will pay $50 tax on every ounce you buy. Vote No on Proposition 19, read the bill see if he bill lives up to its reputation and if it doesn't (which it doesn't) you must vote no.

  • It's too bad that Prop. 19 is nothing but a tax, and regulate bill which doesn't even mention the legalization of cannabis. It only allows a person to carry and ounce which means it is basically decriminalized which it is already except with Prop. 19 you won;t have to pay a $100 fine anymore and you will be able to keep your stash. But if you have more than an ounce, you are going to jail. This is hardly legalization, it is only handing the industry over to the same people who successfully

  • theres nothing addictive about marijuana, i smoke casually and never ever feen to get high. it's absurd that something like tobacco and alcohol are legal and highly addictive while MJ is illegal ??? Bullshit if you ask me

  • 27-30% THC? Please show me some of that shit.

  • @jdesmo4 no kidding!

  • I'd rather pay tax and feel safer getting bud at a store than have to search for it on the streets and possibly get robbed or even killed.

  • yes on 19 make cannabis legal * Tobacco kills about 400,000 * Alcohol kills about 80,000 * Workplace accidents kill 60,000 * Automobiles kill 40,000 * Cocaine kills about 2,500 * Heroin kills about 2,000 * Aspirin kills about 2,000 * Marijuana kills 0

  • I'm 15 and Ive been smoking pot every weekend for about 2 months and I just recently started school and I have no urge to smoke pot at all durning school. I feel as if I can stop smoking like i can stop drinking pop. One last thing, anything fun is addictive.

  • MJ is stronger now who gives a FUCK. People will just smoke less meaning LESS smoke is inhaled. Its healthier.

  • Vote no to Prop 19 if you want full legalisation

  • WOOOOOP WOOOOOOP cant wait till november!!!!! im bringing everyone i know too the polls with me! and then ima get super duper high.

  • the cartels want it illegle.dont give them the satisfaction.legalize it

  • why would obama be against legalization? Is he just a lying hypocrite, or an idiot, or what?

  • @rockhardxrocker a hypocritical tool and idiot

  • There are other sides to the legalization argument. Many believe the proposition is posited in such a way to push out small growers and suffocate the industry by big business. Read the debate on PapaKief com

  • lol "were not losing the war on drugs"

you're right, you're not losing it, you're getting dominated in it, especially in the marijuana battle....wasting billions of dollars every year for enforcement of this NATURAL PLANT for an industry that makes billions every year anyway....

  • not going to jail would be nice

  • Richard: If you want this bill to go through you need to fix your site. Provide the sensible arguments rather than forcing "sign up." This is part of a great idea and I'd hate to see you blow it. I already signed up and when I try to show someone on their computer all you site allows is the "sign-up" without any other entry point (= good-bye).

  • lmao at about 7:28 they are using a walmart bag to bag the weed lmao omg lol lol lol lol

  • join the facebook "tax cannabis 2010"

it helps generate profit and spreads the word

  • 2%....20% health wise WHATS THE DIFFERANCE...percentages and strains may vary in real life to an extent ,however. just like nicotine in tobacco, the t.h.c. in cannabis isnt whats doing respitory damage its the bi-product of sooty carconigens inhaled during the actual smoking process itself that harms the respitory system. so with that said wouldn't a higher t.h.c. level actually be BETTER. less filler=less smoke inhilation required

  • @joey22889 exactly. these fuckers are just trying to scare the uneducated. he forgot to mention that its impossible to overdose. they grew up in a time where marijuana was demonized, so it is ingrained in them.

  • People will easily still buy cannabis even if there is a tax on it, like anything else you buy, you would trust a shop to sell you good products at a fair price over any individual supplier. Another thing is that surely if cannabis was leagalized the black market for it would die down as canabis dealers would suddenly have the oportunity to make money in a legal fair way that doesn't change much in what they do.

  • "Cannabis in the 60's only had about 1-2% THC... today's cannabis is far stronger"

I call BS. 1-2% would be hemp. You might get as high smoking your hemp rope lol

  • yea the ppl that talk about the kids should really give it up it looks stupid.they know the benefits of cannabis and they just done want YOU to have it. CANNABIS CURES CANCER....SUCK IT

  • "There's no doubt about it that the drug cartels and organizations are very much involved in the production and sale of marijuana."

    NO WAY!

"You can be out walking through the national forest and if you hike into one of these marijuana grows, you'll be at great risk."

If this is supposed to be an argument against legalization, it fails utterly.

  • I envy you Californians, it's gonna be legal 420 in Nov 2010. You are gonna get a boat load of "tourists" visiting and pumping green into your economy. I'm stuck in Texas, they bury you under the jail for a lil baggy.

  • The fact that it is stronger nowadays is no biggy if you ask me. Just means I have to smoke less. I don't smoke with anyone else and only smoke when I'm at home in the evening. Ive been through about 1 and half grams over the past 6 weeks. Just 2 to 3 light to medium drags is all I need.

  • Anyone can grow tobacco brew their own beer

do people have "time" thats why its more convenient to buy a six pack or some cigs

    you can tax cannabis.

  • she made 0 effort to not sound scripted on that first bit LOL

  • F*%@ off how can you tax a plant!?

  • @bootytasha It's already being taxed by drug dealers. It's better to let that money go to paying teachers and build roads rather than fund drug dealers rap recording adventures.

  • I'm bringing back the term cigaweed.

  • here is what I think weed should be legal to people over 21( yeah I am 17 but I will still be happy because the cops will stop cutting down my outdoor grows) but it should still be not legal to import weed. In this economy we cannot afford to keep importing our weed( which is why I stop dealing and started growing and because all I could find was cheap shitty nuggets) Yeah I know there is awsome weed in the dam but fuck it WE DONT NEED MORE IMPORTS.

  • it is funny to stoner pot is stronger nice! to the other people of no that is bad ooooooohhhhhh people will die oooooooh.

  • eh what are they talking about they say no one with buy weed at under ten bucks a G fuck in massachusetts i cant find it take price fuck.

  • More THC just means less it takes for someone to get high, less is better.

  • less is better .. but who do you know that will NOT finish that joint later haha..sooner or later your going to get all of it :)

    FREE THE WEED!

  • If people were allowed to grow their own at home the cost could be about $2.00 per ounce. When the Government controls and taxes it they'll take your property via tax evasion laws that carry a $100,000 fine and 5 years in prison.

  • who ever owns that clothing store next door should carry hemp clothes

  • shoot safer than cafeine !!

  • lies lies lies... LEGALIZE IT TODAY. Misinformed americans really dont know. Listen to them in the video 150$ an oz, 30% percent THC lol... sounds like they are living in some kind of marijuana fantasy world to me. Medical goes 220-360 an ounce and Marijuana rarely exceeds 22%. If it was grown taxed and regulated those old schools out there could once again have their low thc level if they want 7% or so. Personally i would rather smoke more potent mj so i dont have to enhale as much smoke?owell

  • Introduce [pot] to our communities? It's already here. Cigarette use is at the lowest recorded levels and no one had to go to jail to do it. It's all about education.

  • Respect to Oaksterdam.

Disrespect to the cop with a political agenda. Leave the lies to the politicians.

  • when that person said 'do we need to introduce another addictive substance, another dependency driven substance' he should think about all da pharmaceuticals dat been introduced today, dats wat is fucking up da people, cannabis was already introduced long before pharmaceuticals, it was medicine for 5000 years, except for these past 70 years? wat bullshit!

  • dont tax me bro.

  • please get involved with this movement where ever you are. LEGALIZATION OF CANNABIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!

  • would love it if you came to the big state of AK to start an dispensary would make things much easier happy harvesting!

  • He's right- drug cartels are very involved in the marijuana market. Marijuana makes up over 70% of drug cartel profits, but we have the power to cripple them by taking all of that 70%.

  • The notion that Gov't resources would be used to protect marijuana users and legal marijuana selling establishments, is far-fetched. If anything, these entities would use the rise in violence and property crimes to debunk the theory that allowing this reform costs society less while propegating just personal freedom. Lets not forget "The War on Drug" has never been about eliminating the dealers or exposing criminals - its been about making a contriband product more valuable on the black market.

  • How can he really think that the war on drugs is a battle they are winning? Please take action if you live in California and write to your representatives on the issue for legalizing marijuana. It is a harmless plant when used recreationally causes no harm to others assuming you are an adult. Take money out of the drug cartels hands and tax it to bring in state revenue. Please be proactive and let your voice be heard.

  • They argue that no one will pay a $50 ounce tax and that the black market would prevail. I would gladly pay that to buy from a professional shop and smoke the type of marijuana I want with no fear of pesticides or worse yet weed laced with PCP, meth or heroin.

  • Not sure what breaking into a gay couples home has to do with marijuana?

  • i live in Ca and i would gladly pay tax on it

  • Well, when the ballot is passed by voters - it will then be up to citizens to hold not only the Gov't accountable but to hold the illegal drug traffickers accountable too. Don't think that these smugglers/dealers will go quietly, they will need to be exposed/fought-off/exterminated. Everyone who pumped up the legalization movement to get to the point of victory will share the burden of fighting these illegal traffickers and keeping the new system and the people safe from harm.

  • @MrPolysyllabic I would say that the massive amounts of money that have been used in the past to fight the 'war on drugs' could then be used to fight pissed off ex-drug dealers/smugglers who might want to fight to keep their business. In addition law enforcement might be able to use the new tax money from legal marijuana to fight those people. This would be such a positive change for this world, if done correctly...

  • anxiety. nice one I'll use it

  • 09:34 "...another addictive substance." Addictive?

Then he (cop) wonders why citizens do not trust him.

  • it's so sad how mis-informed these police chiefs and law enforment people are. Calling weed a dependency drivin substance, trying to say that somehow, higher THC % per (amount of weed) is a bad thing. It's almost a laugh but it's really a cry.

  • Alcohol is way more addictive and destructive.

    I'll bet he drinks...

  • the old man who said marijuana is a narcotic....is a fuckin dumbass lol

  • As if in the 60s people didn't get high from weed.

And the anti-drug parent needs to get stoned more than anyone.

  • people always seem to forget in the constitution[written on hemp] it says states are allowed to have laws that dont abide with federal law....

u dont see FED agents braking into a gay couple's home in the middle of the night and puttin them in jail.

  • LOL HAHAHAHAHA

Incredible Marijuana commercial followed by Chase banking.

  • RAND group claims the tax would encourage black market, but most of the price of pot right now comes from the risk, legalize it and the price will drop drastically, it would be cheaper legal with the tax than illegal without.

  • tax marijuana but HEMP IS MORE LUCRATIVE!

  • Rand Drug Policy Research Center has a vested interest in saying CA is likely to be disappointed with the revenue from hemp.

America's EVIL anti-hemp policy, that makes nature illegal, is delusional thinking designed to keep the people enslaved to Prison, Inc.

Hemp is California's #1 cash crop and the failure to tax it is criminal.

  • legalize it worldwide!

  • i bet fucken arnold would be a lot quicker to legalise if he was one of the poor cunts that got sent to jail for it.

  • enough credible sources can verify that Arnold STILL partakes ~ a number of times with his friend, the "father of Prop 215," even! i don't know what kind of deals he's made [and how much money he's making] to ] as to why he's maintaining his false position, but he needs to stop being a hypocrite and do right by us by cannabis. innocent, non-criminal folks will stop living in fear and the California economy will get a much needed boost!!!!
