.. because halo was released before all of the popular games that are out right now, and plus it was built on an older engine where the newer games had a newer engine to run them. and I thought halo's graphics were amazing. And I don't understand why people say cod graphics are the best. they arent that great, the environments have alot of grass and trees, but its blurry, grass doesnt move, trees don't move, everything is completely still. I WAS NOT impressed with cod's graphics. Good, not great

you dont have to be a fan of halo to realize it changed the face of gaming, especially halo 2 and online gaming

and yea, @unders00000 see the thing is, when you're recording with a homemade camera, sounds that are closer to the camera - such as you and the person next to you clapping - are louder than sounds farther away from you, such as other people clapping

but yea, you should go get your hearing checked if you cant tell the difference between 2 people and a room of people clapping

Bungie was an independant company when this announcement was made, and up until mid-2000 when they were bought out by Microsoft. But yeah, it stung a bit seeing Bungie, the one true studio really developing for the Mac, get gobbled up by MS.

But they gave us 3 great games, and that's all that really matters in the end.

yeah, and most fps games have a sprint button that allows you to run for at least short spurts. this really annoys me in halo, as it takes a long time to get aroundw tihout a vehicle.

Halo's a fun game, don't get me wrong.

and i'm thinking of recent titles like the COD franchise, Red Faction, Battlefield, whatever. a lot of the big titles.

Halo isn't an in-depth, realistic shooter, but it's still loads of awesome.

the lack of sprinting or cover is a little irksome, but nonetheless.

Microsoft owns the halo IP so thats never gonna happen. The only reason halo came out on mac at all is because they originally announced it for mac before bungie was bought up by Microsoft.. You'll NEVER see halo on mac.
