QUESTION

OK so my brother brought me one of these from a military base, so its kind of old. It looks a tad bit different than that one. Instead of the American flag there is a fancy "A". My question is, should this lock go into a false set or no? Because I raked the shit out of it and nothing happened. Then I attempted SPP it and I still didn't get anywhere. So i just need some advice on it like how much tension, strategies ect. any help would be great this lock is very frustrating

what is a good padlock to own for a shed or a bicycle if you have your own chain say?

yes is is an invention of mine to make top of keyway tension much easier...i took an old idea, added about 5 innovations of my own,and now you see them all over youtube and the web.

that lock is impossible to false set, i been trying to pick that lock for a year and still no luck, and no false set, but i really dont no how a false is like on an american so yah

force false set,like i do...also star with something easier..(took me about a year to learn how to consistently pick americans

what kinda locks do you recommend to pick, to get prepared for the american lock?

well ,americans carry serrated regular drivers,

and serated hybrid spool drivers,as well as serrated keypins.

i would suggest you pick some more basic lox 1st,like master 140,or abus 41

i have vids on these.

o i have the master 140, its pretty fun to pick, i think it only has one spool pin since it makes a big false set

its called a plug follower,& pretty much anything the right size will do..that one is from a stainless steel pen.

markers,pens,a wooden dowel,..(i have even used rolled-up printer paper,in a pinch.)
