The only good thing about this movie is Colin Farrell, everything is crap. The original version of "Fright Night 1 and 2" back in the '80's were WAY better than this. The special effects are OK. The writing is just bad. The actors were blech, except for Colin.

This movie was actually very good. I watched the original first, but it sucked too much. Shity actors and characters (except Ed), but in the new version all the characters were well made, and the story was remade so it looked smooth.

The only thing that was better in the original was Amy's vampire face. Can you NOT love the giant mouth?

@gummybbearr Uh, it must be a typo on - easy enough to do - as I'm sure you meant "Disturbia" is an urban ripoff of "Fright Night" as "Disturbia" was released on April 13, 2007 and the above film is a remake of the original "Fright Night" which was released on August 2, 1985 some 22 years previous to "Disturbia". Easy enough oversight on anyone's part what with all the remakes, reimaginings, redoes, and a whole host of other re-'s cluttering up the Hollywood landscape these days.
