The Mpc2000 can be expanded memory wise 32MB, which is equal to damn near 5 minutes of sample time. i own one thats been expanded, so no worries about memory space on that one. i just wish the Mpc2000 had track mute like the XL.

honestly, i have no idea how that works. i just use the mpc2000 and record into cool edit pro on a regular old PC. never used anything else. wish i could give some better advice.

I don't get why someone thumb downed my previous comment? My Duet is THE SHIT. I use it for exactly what you wanna do, MPC to Logic. It only has two inputs, but thats all you need for the MPC's left and right outputs anyways. If you got the money, get it. It's easily the best in its price range. What you put into it is exactly what you get out, and can you really ask for anything more from an audio interface?

@mrfreestyle86 the apogee duet is a good option but i would use the 8 outputs on your mpc and get an 8 channel interface to track into Logic. that way you can mix your shit better.
