Were it not the times Shostakovich happened to find himself in, his music would be but just a blind, pale reflection of the masterful oeuvre he left otherwise. Great to be given a chance to see this spectacular movie, with such a little known, but equally redoubtable performance by Sir Kingsley. Thanks !
