I'm in my twenties and I actually borrowed my sister's copy, for lack of something to read. I read them and they are hilarious! They really capture what it's like to be a kid. They're not all sweet and happy like most kids' books, but neither is childhood, and that's what makes them great!

Recently, Jeff Kinney announced a film would be made by 20th Century Fox and will come out on Friday, April 2, 2010. Auditions were occurring currently untill July 3, 2009 the casting auditions were currently closed and and the winner and the winner of the Greg Heffley movie role audution who won the leading role of Greg Heffley for the movie of Diary of a Wimpy Kid would be annonced soon.
