people's voices change. that is to be expected. she may not have some of her high notes anymore but she still has a beautiful voice and a great technique. She is also an amazing actress. Always a pleasure to see her acting and singing on stage... thank you for this. this was great.

Talent aside, which is arguable, don't compare her to Sutherland and Sills because her voice is different. I wouldn't compare Domingo to Kunde...different classifications of tenor, not readily comparable.
althought i agree with dollartwenty , that sometimes the voice sounds uncomfortable and with a heavy vibrato , i think she is one of the best singers of her generation,no doubt!!! above all i love her acting , and the fact that she is a major callas fan ! brava!
and of course ... NEVER , EVER compare this brilliant singer to LEGENDS like sutherland or sills , i bet she wouldn't like it ... and especially not to , less relevant singers ... like mosuc lolol
Some very interesting clipsMy personal opinion is that she is a fine light coloratura but that in the heavier roles the voice is pushed and always sounds uncomfortable with a heavy vibrato especially in teh top register. That said there are too few sopranos today who can essay these roles for more than a ferw years without their voices self destructing and we should be grateful for those who last. The likes of Sutherland or Sills are only seen once or twice in a centrury.

Great compilation! Missing more modern roles, but here we hear a lot of her pre-surgery notes and great colouratura roles. She's amazing!

Simply stunning tribute.
My very personal opinion:
- she OWNS Ophelie, Olympia and Lakmé. There's no Sutherland or whathaveyou that can compare.
- She's in the top 3 Zerbinettas in history with Sills and Mosuc.
- She's the most thrilling Glitter & Be gay ever.
- Though I prefer voices like Moser and Deutekom as QotN, she's the best light coloratura as the Queen.
Think you should have included the Entfuhrung's Martern and Alcina's Tornami for a complete tribute.
