@GreyKarma4 yes they did have horns attacked to their helmets, most enemies of the Teutonic Knights trembled in fear of the sight of them. many were afraid of the Teutonic Knights cause they saw them as ruthless people who would do anything in the name of God. in my opinion the Teutonic Knights were a badass christian order who would kill anyone who wasn't christian/catholic. and that is how they became widely feared.

But when Poland allied itself with Lithuania thats when the tides turned against the Teutonic Order. the Teutonic Order was eventually allied with the Holy Roman Empire. but after a while bad leadership and few other events the Teutonic Order eventually became weak and then Lithuania became catholic.

I'm a firm believer in never committing elite troops except when necessary. Let the peasants burn before I let my knights singe their tabards. :D

@TheMetalPenguin that or just have a full army of them by using the add_money 40000 command and just repeat that multiple times and then upgrade your cities population with add_population 2500 then build, then do process_cq (city's name) then you get dismounted Ritterbruder faster, yeah its cheap but at least its fun specially when the settings for the unit size are on Huge. have fun!

@trooper59 Tax a lot. I set all my taxes on high in the begining, unless your Novgorod. They have one of the worst economies ever and you need to get some coastal land in order to get really good income, staying inland for them is the best way to get bankrupt.
