  • why 8 turbos... because no one else did... that i all

  • Totally bonkers.......

    I love it....

  • I would imagine the air compression would reach the max possible and stay within the limit of the engine's threshold long before 8 turbos are necessary. Run two turbos directly into a third, the air compression would probably match or be greater than 8 turbos working individually. Hell, even running a supercharger directly through a turbocharger would produce more compression than necessary. Unless you're living at 15,000 feet, then nevermind.

  • what a useless pile of good parts

  • @morbidguitar

Blah. cant agree more. lemme get the 6 turbos that are being wasted on this motor lol. With turbos it comes to efficiency. 8 cylinders spooling 8 turbos < 8 cyl spooling 1 or 2 turbos.

why would you do this other to say " yes, i have 8 turbos."??? you cant be making any more power than vs a single or twins lol

    useless build. sorry

  • @DeSmetownescbc

Not useless. Unique. Its whatever you want not everything is "useless".

  • someone spent a lot of money to put 8 turbos on an engine, too bad they didnt spend a few bucks for a decent camera to shoot the video

  • Can't see the point? They're remote anyway so there's no gain here. Probably just to brag how many they have.

  • why 8 turbos?

    because racecar

  • what the heck is that looks lke a monsterr

  • HIGH!

  • WHY?!

  • it dont rev up any quicker and cooling this bad boy would cost

  • The Bugatti Veyron has 4? Then lets put 8 in the Cevy!

  • lol... useless

  • O_O"..... HOLY SHIT !!!!!

  • wtf?

  • i think you may need a plumber instead of a mechanic, when this thing breaks down.

  • @Henzzman lmao

  • is it possible to put that in a car??

  • Kind of stupid...

  • thats a mess

  • lol they prolly running 10 psi, but so much cfm its not even funny, props to whoever took the time to even try to piece this together!

  • "What have you got in that thing a 350? 454?"

"No, a demonic octopus from the future."

  • 10000psi of boost.

  • It made 200hp at the flywheel.

  • @ghettodriftmonkey1 i think you forgot one zero lol

  • @Bamchucknorris oh did i say 200? i mean't 20,000,000hp .

  • @ghettodriftmonkey1 dont be a wise ass: a factory stock LS1 makes 350...

  • @Bamchucknorris Someone obviously cannot smell sarcasm.

  • @ghettodriftmonkey1 I beliveve you were being wise: not sarcastic...

  • just as the great roco said.....WHAT THE FUCKIN FUCK!!!

  • sadly im a tech and i use exhaust wraps and heat sheilding on any fire or heat conducive environments, not a dumb ass like the person here seems to think just stating its a fire hazard many of these young kids and even college students have tried and why many cars you can find in junkyards now have burnt up engines due to proper heat restriction and sheilding now if you are running your turbo that hot it will burn up fast without proper cooling.

  • See the glowing exhaust manifolds lol feel sorry if you put that in a car with a small engine bay... fire hazzard

  • @p84cressidadriftin They all do that dumb ass.

  • ever think about turbocharging that thing

  • seriously! wtf?

  • no reason...

  • was there a motor under all that plumbing?

  • how much horses are in that engine?

  • but.. why?

  • Must....get....more....boooooooooooost!

  • Needs more turbos

  • Pimped out Dyson.

  • ZOMG....!

  • small turbos 8lbs each

  • @vai2iant They have to be small, there is no way a single v8 engine could spool up 8 60 or 80 mm turbos.

  • y 8 y not 10 or 20? u got more money than brains. what the F

  • @jazzy14u2 is it so hard to put why? May i also point out that 8 matches the number of cylinders, it would have to be 16 turbos if you were going for more turbos.

  • you should add more turbos to your power seats

  • Worlds first vacuum cleaner that has 8 dust containers.

  • Just because you can, doesn't necessarily mean you should.

  • @phoenix11994466

    psht. it totally does

  • sounds like there is a serious amount of turbo lag here

  • put that in a gokart

  • i dont even know what i was lookin at

  • Grit your teeth and wait for the BOOM...

  • they had more in an fittings and v bands than in the motor

  • wow intense the tuinning for that must of beenn whakked out

  • why jim... why?

  • @TBWdracula2003 ya canny change the laws of physics jim!

  • So is this for a car or a train

  • i thought it was hilarious just like chill dude

  • Great it runs.. now find a engine compartment it will fit in...

  • friggin idiots u would need 8 turbs look if u need more than 2 turbs and 12 cyl to make a car fast u suck hence the bugatti and this piece of shit thats why the SSC ULTIMATE AERO an the BARABUS TKR smoke o and if u dont know the BARABUS goes 265+++++++ and it only has 2 turbs and only 8 cyl o-60 in 1.6 secs lets see a bugatti or any other car thats street legal do that nuff said

  • @bleachrox97 chill dude noone cares about ur mommy issues

  • @durtled yo i forgot to sign out and my friend thought it would be funny to piss someone off (you) sorry

  • @bleachrox97 lol why do idiots always think everyone else is dumber than they are its blindingly obvious that the people that built this didnt do this to build the fastest most powerful best engine in the world but just wondering what would happen if you put a turbo for every cylinder. the w16 bugatti isnt a pos its just not as fast as the ssc or brabus witch are rwd and very light and powerful making them useless on the street 1.6 sec yeah okay maybe if you tubb them and put some m/t slicks on

  • @XxMaTTxMPHxX i agree but again as i said to durtled it wasnt me who posted this so sorry for wasting your time i guess

  • @bleachrox97 there are too many street cars to name that would beat the ssc and the barabus just go look up tx2k10 and ppr, underground racing, nelson performance, heffner performance, dlm, hennesey, lingenfelter, rod saubury vette, ultima gtr FUCKIN SHIT! THERES TOO MANY!!!! IM OFF

  • @bleachrox97 its done to see if it can be done nob head use ur imagination before consulting wikipedia

  • major small dick syndrome there. wait dickless sydrome

  • @A31SKIDDAA I completely agree!

  • lmfao!! Where the f*ck is the bloody motor!?!?

  • octocharged?

  • i have 1 with 9 turbo's!

  • its breathing through a straw and its so hot

  • Darn, they're not tellin' how much bhp that thing produces? :s

  • @Hionimi No, they were too embarrassed to :D

  • i think in the car will be so a big intercooler that you can place it on the roof...

or maybe you can just watch the temperature of your carburator going over 200c°

  • 8 turbos... boostin' 0.1 psi each.

    rednecks.... lol

  • how much power

  • wonder which moves faster the gas gauge going down or the Speedo going up haha

  • I was watching another video, when I saw 8 Turbo's. Thought it was a typo. Guess not. lol

  • man thats alot of boost on one engine

  • @Bamchucknorris probably not a lot of boost. Because the turbos are only feeding off one one cylinder each, they are probably very small to prevent lag. This would keep them from making a lot of boost as well as the fact that one cylinder can only spin a turbo so fast. Though this is just my opinion.

  • @turboaddict88 yea but it sound like theyre spooling alright

  • @turboaddict88 You also have to take into account that one cylinder doesn't just move less air, but it's not always moving air anyway. with a single turbo you always have at least one cylinder moving it on a power stroke while at least one other cylinder is taking in air.

  • @JazzVanWolfe Yes, I understand this as well. After the exhaust stroke where the cylinder would be feeding the turbo, the piston still has to go down, up, down to be able to come back up again to push more exhaust on the turbine side. So the pressure from each turbo will be constantly changing with the stroke of that cylinder. I'm not trying to be smart or sound like an ass by saying; I do work on cars for a living so I had taken into account what you said. I just didn't post it on my comment.

  • @turboaddict88 to many raw ends to this build i would say, although in the end i believe this will make his fuel economy a lot better.

  • @JazzVanWolfe And it would be the exhaust stroke that spins the turbo, not the power stroke.

  • whats the numbers on that?

  • And the pipes cherry after 4 seconds of boost. Niceee, and only at like 4000 RPM's.

  • he'd have to run them all at such little boost to keep the air/fuel ratio correct right?

  • @thumasta666 Nah dude just set it so you get .5 mpg lol

  • @thumasta666 no, not if you have a stand alone unit to alter your a/f ratio accordingly to your specific application...

  • I worked on a 21,000 hp inline seven diesel engine once and that thing only had two turbos...

  • The phrase “over-engineered” has never applied more. Reminds me of stacking roots superchargers. Not the most efficient or practical way to make power.

  • i see the reason of putting 8 turbos on a engine just 1 time to just see the max performance of the engine then from there make mods that can come close to those numbers but i think you spent to much money on those shits

  • fake, i couldnt even see the turbo's just all the pipes and stuff. you can hear the turbo flutter but stiill it doesnt mean ALL 8 turbos are functioning

  • @themostamazingblaine naw man its real seen many pics of this thing

  • @Savageowner610 just because it has 8 turbos attached and you have seen pix doesnt mean that its actually functional, plus the intercooler required to cool off 8 turbos would be MASSIVE like 6ft wide 4ft tall lol not point in arguing further

  • @themostamazingblaine no bodys arguging your just to dumb to relize that anything is possible... and there is no intercooler, this is just somebody doidng something to say they did, what would be the point of turbos that arnt functional i dont think anybody would waste there money to build somthing that stupid. its a real car deal with it...

  • pointless.. why even bother. a single decent sized turbo on a V8 would beat this thing, as those 8 turbos will be at full song before 3000rpm and out of puff by 4000rpm, where as a good sized single will keep you powered until your motor gives up

  • @MrHuggiebear1985 Personally I'd go with twins, one for each cylinder bank, your point is well made though :D

  • This only happened because someone said it couldn't be done.

  • hahah all you need now, is a big ass STRONGLY BUILT go cart, and no one will touch you, providing the motor stays in one peice!

  • notice hw the engine is on a engine dyno and not in a ride cause it wont fit and its gay

  • i always thought about 8 little turbos on a v8 one per cylinder

  • pointless

you wood prolly lose power after the 2nd turbo

  • only chevy can hold that

  • if it broke down would you call a mechanic or a plumber ???

  • @pjsdogbender loooooooool

  • @pjsdogbender LOL

  • @pjsdogbender both

  • I couldn't see this doing much after about 7000 rpms. KABOOOOOOM

  • how many piston rings does that thing need just to hold the boost? not even considering securing the explosion

  • Now we need 9 turboss

  • 1 turbo per piston lol

  • LMAO. If you could only put that under a hood. Imagine the heat from all of those pipes?

  • What a plumbing nightmare, imagine all the oil and coolant lines!

  • @roflex2 Imagine the size of the intercooler needed for the whole thing to work!

  • WHHHYYYY??? I could see being different and putting 4 on, but 8??????????? WOW!!!!

  • I think that was just for the hell of it. I want to see some dyno number though!

  • why???

  • peice o shit

  • all ican say is wow, dumb idea.

  • probally make more power with 2 turbos be easier to repair and be more reliable 8 turbos are pointless

  • turbo lag anyone?

  • Whats the point. Probably makes the same power as 2 larger snails...

  • sounds like a 747 taking off

  • yea this is pretty bad ass but...to much anyone..how in the hell are you gona handle all the power

  • Shouldn't you be saying how long can you handle the power for? That thing has to be breaking down..a lot. I bet running it WOT it'll crack the block.

    Just my 2 cents

  • good idea... terrible video you jackass. i dotn like your familys faces

  • put it in a go cart then let me drive it so i can boost myself the hell off this planet

  • abosloutely stupid it looks ugly . 2 turbos are fine with me, that defeats the purpose, yea it does nice numbers on the dyno try fitting all that in a car, i just see no point wat a waste.

  • i think that engine is meant for a rail car. which you will have no problem fitting the biggest engine you can find.

  • im sure this idea wasnt well thought out and just scotch taped together

  • that is insane and disturbing.. i love it. im goin to check the car it was put into now. (cmon youtube dont fail me now)

  • I love a shitload of torque and HP as the next guy, but really, what is that going to fit in?... Peterbuilt Diesel truck, I like how they put 8 turbochargers but is this even logical...is there enough exhaust gases pushing the turbine to create adequate "boost/Spool"? It's pretty damn cool but not cost effective.

  • snaple07

I believe it went in a 57 chevy actually

  • This video is really bad quality, and i can't even make out an outline of any of the turbo's.

  • are you trying to just blow the heads off or something ???

  • That's cool I just can't see how the pressure doesn't blow the block apart

  • frankinboost

  • you never even see the housings themselves so it may only have one with alot of bolt on shit just to make it look like it has 8

  • There is a 55 chevy all done up that looks like this motor with 8 turbos. Piping for miles and has some stupid 1500hp or so

  • Those other guys are just jealous little queers in Toyota Prius' or some other type of hybrid, don't listen to them, that engine kicks ass and sounds great. It's just too much for them pussies to comprehend.

  • applause

  • Now thats just fucking over-kill : /

  • what the fuck for! i bet you race lawnmowers!

  • lol man thats cool i thot about it one day but i was like ahhh whats for but man thanks for sharing that whit us

  • It's amazing what people get up to with spare time on there hands ! Different engine ! Cool mind !

  • ok, here is my 2 cent.. this is STUPID..

  • There is no point in having 8 small turbos when you could have 1 or 2 larger ones.

  • this is giggedy gay

  • You would need a scaffolder just to put oil in :L

  • ya that is a little redickulus lol

  • I'm sorry, but who ever did this did it purely for the wank factor. And that's exactly what you look like, a wanker.

  • You sir are a dip shit!

  • Craaaaaaapppp!!!!!!!!

  • its in a chevy haha.

  • This is a LS-1

Its only puts out 840 Hp because they are tiny turbos to reduce turbo lag. a Twin Turbo LS-1 with Big Turbos can get way over 1000

  • hahahahah fucking asshole haha

  • Wheres the logic behind this?

  • probly cause someone told him it couldnt be done

  • less turbo lag.

  • Comment removed

  • I guess 8 is better than 7.

  • now to find a drive shaft that can handle it and there ya go
