i dont get it. vocaloid01 was the oldest version of vocaloid, YET vocaloid01 is hatsune miku o.o (its on her arm) vocaloid 02 is the second version, and they are kagamine rin and len. vocaloid03 is the new korean one, BUT LUKA HAS 03 ON HER ARM (or maybe somewhere else on her body)!!! and then theres kaito, meiko, gakupo AND WAHH SO MANY!! I CANT GET ITTT >:OOO please explain someone Dx like, do we number them or something?

@Rabbitateness Meiko/Kaito were the only japanese vocaloids to be part of vocaloid01(or the first vocaloid version) and neither were given a number. Miku was the first to be part of the vocaloid02 series(thus she has an 01.....for being FIRST in the SECOND version of vocaloid.) Rin/Len were the next to be released, which is why they have 02. Luka was the THIRD released by crypton (gakupo came after rin/len but he is from internet co. only vocaloids by crypton have numbers) and so she has an 03.

Personally, I don't think a Vocaloid anime would be good because plot would be just random nonsense, the fans wouldn't be able to give interpretations of the personalities, and there would be fan wars(Most likely pairing-wise).

Actually, I'm an animator for Bones and the offices we have in America have received notice that Bones has received the offer for a Vocaloid Anime, but it's fishy with all of the rights and the probability of profit. I might just start my own studio and get an anime for this amazing concept. Vocaloid is everything to me when it comes to music.

No plot.. what would it be about? hm.. maybe about they having concerts/tour? or the stories of the most popular songs, like: one ep is kokoro and another is cantarella. lol.
