i dont get why you came to idea to call him suicidal?? this is normal, ine does that too, when he wants to go somewhere he strats to go with fromt legs, so i dont get what is suicidal about this. and this is specie which should hawe really nice collors, i dont know why yours is so dark, but when they turn dark they are angry, to thik a bit about what makes him angry and dont do that.
@yeahitsavo no, that chameleon isn't dark or stressed out. if it was stressed it's eyes would be sunken in, and it would be moving a lot faster. that is it's normal color variation
they need a lot of attention and they aren't the kind to like being handled much.. so think about if you want a pet like that. overall i enjoy having a chameleon.
Get a veiled for your first one, they're cool and the easiest to care for.
Before you get one you should make sure you read up on how to properly care for them. Proper care is very important (find out signs of stress, Proper feeding, Proper living conditions.)
Chameleons don't like to be held, despite what some people might say. Also, the best you can hope for is that your chameleon will tolerate you.
