@a22422a A shadowy spore-like alien, spawned from a cluster of infected planets in another galaxy, flies into you sun. It transforms the sun into a dark, twisted, living factory, infecting all the planets in it's orbit and filling them with hostile creatures. You travel to the shadow planet in your little flying saucer to go get your sun back and save your planet.

@donmarduk Which is funny, because my Xbox finally red ringed and I said, and I quote, "I will not pay microsoft to fix something they should have done right in the first place". That said, I will go out and get the new slim version in the next month or so, because it renders that argument invalid. As for a 360 owner's ability to appreciate games, I could say that ps3 owners dont know how to appreciate anything other than racing games and god of war. I would be wrong, but then so are you.

OMG! I know this Michael Gagne's work! He did these crazy comics about a fox who becomes the savior of his planet and without giving too much away I can say that judging on this game's art style it totally looks like a spiritual succesor to his comics!
