  • Thank you very much!!

  • I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and it's working. Thanks.

  • In Windows 7 is: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Sony Creative Software

  • Uninstall Sony vegas and than uninstall all the updates one by one and the library from the uninstall programs. Than update again and reinstall the library and that sony vegas. You may get the error again when you reinstall vegas but the program will work.

  • @nycresistance And get rid of Nortons if you have it on your pc

  • will it work with windows 7?

  • I did what you said still nothing?

  • Okay, i disconnected form the internet, i went to regedit, and i went to HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE/SOFTWARE and scrolled down to S, but i couldn't find ANYTHING with Sony or Sony Vegas in it ): FML

  • im gonna come to your house and give you a hug thankyou! :D

  • DISCONNECT INTERNET! REMOVE SONY VEGAS FILES IN REGEDIT! RUN AS ADMIN ON SET UP! (STAY DISCONNECTED) RUN THE SETUP. ENJOY

  • THE ONLY WAY THAT FIXED THIS FOR ME WAS TO FORMAT COMPUTER THEN IT INSTALL AGAIN PERFECT

  • Go to run and type in regedit (registry edit). you'll get a long list of every single file on PC (i think)

Go to HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE/SOFTWARE now scroll down to S and you'll find Sony creative software this file is somehow interrupting with the download i think its because you've recently download and unistalled Vegas 9 i did and this started to happen just delete the file and now download

  • @kanetaker11 delete which file?

  • @dylmason2k7

Yes, I have fixed this problem. Although Sony Vegas is hard to use at first lol. I'll try to show you a Video on how to fix this or I will try to find the YouTube link for the video I used. Please be a little patient.

All I can tell you is that

    1) Disconnect Your Internet.

    2) Install it (While Internet is disconnected.)

    3) After it's done installing(Hopefully) Connect your Internet back up.

    4) Start Your free trial or if you have a serial number, use that.

    Tell meif itworks

  • @kanetaker11 I disconnet my internet and it did not worked... WTF? ^^

  • @kanetaker11 DUDE THX I SUB YOU!!!

  • @dylmason2k7 I forgot to mention this guys, this is not only for you dylmason2k7, this is for everyone.

Right click the file you're going to install and Run it as administrator! and follow all the steps below.

    Maybe this will work?

  • i've had this for last month trying to fix.. all i find is please download this, so when i download the "fix" i have to register, and it costs like 49£ fuck that..

  • mabey you have a 64 bit..... check by right clicking computer and hit properties should say somewhere there.

  • @Egosftw1495

I'm sure that I have a 32bit. I go to Control Panel, Then Click System and Maintenance and I click System.

    It says

    System Type: 32-bit Operating System

Should I try downloading the 64-bit or will that be a waste of time?
