According RC Universe Redcat will release 3 new 1/6 brushless a buggy, truggy and SC last August. However, I don't see monster truck on the list.

you know i've been meaning to ask this for a while, but work and all that kinda gets in the way. How do you steer the car in the air? you know: lateral movement, left and right pitch/roll? you just steer left or right, right?

@Sharkformer You can get some left/right roll by just steering in the air, but the most important is pitch corrections, which is done with the throttle and brake. Hit the throttle in the air to get the nose up, or the brake to bring the nose down.

@dutysupe Well most of the cars show totally durable during our testing and during the first drive. its the second and many more drives during the course of one week or so where we find what issues are coming out in new vehicles. you do not want to sell something that show total durable on first drive heheheh. Normally issues come out later. thats why we take time to test them over many days or weeks and modify them.

Ali, do you know if the proposed final retail will be 22.2V capable? Right now, there's not much available in 1/5th that could double as a high-speed pass machine, and I've been dying to find something that big that could do 6S 60MPH passes AND drop down to 4S to bash like this.

@dougsparks66 This can take 22.2v but at the moment we are trying to get it stable with 14.8v only. with twin 11.1v (3s) batteries, the heat will simply melt the cables. We will need better cables for batteries too and better connectors. ESC Can surely handle 22.2v.

Nice one ali, it just looks a bit bumpy IMO, i think longer shocks and softer springs or (lower silicone oli wt) will make this car much much more quicker on turns, probably better than any other expensive brands

Jeeze, I'm a RedCat believer now....I LOVE how you apologized for that rollover!!! :) Compared to your other brushless videos, that beast is jumping so much further...it's really neat that you use the same testing area to give us a good feel of the performance. I don't know how much editing you did, but it sure seemed to stay on its feet even after some extreme driving!!

I'm so sorry that you have that job, it must be horrible working conditions! :) I assume you were using 6S 22.2V?

@dougsparks66 I have cut all them boring turnings, slow driving clips and some of the high speed passes, few jumps. Kept all the bad jumps, long jumps. We drove it like 7 minutes on 2 batteries first, replaced the batteries and drove for another 7 to 8 minutes. I can't fix the whole 14 Minute of HD footage :) you know. rest yes it jumps really big and gets more air time even more than 1/8 brushless we have. we are using Twin 7.4v 5400mAh 40C Batteries.

y know. if you throw the tires in reverse while in the air you will not spin forward but instead you will land flat? nice little fact, so you dont bust up the front end.
