The movie is interesting but seems desperate not to show any real criticism of him. He was not a perfect creature by any means but an incredibly self-absorbed man. Of course, if you visit India and her museums then you will certainly believe he was a demi-God. As India is unable to accept the truth it is thus unable to progress from the past and will forever remain there enamoured by this man whose actions led to the deaths of a million.

What makes Gandhi great is, he had developed a character not to hate even the british who oppressed and ruled Indians.
