I have a new little character in my life now, Mischief- she is a tuxedo cat too with white on her lip, completely different personality... she is a bossy little thing but loves belly rubs and being held!
@badbearwatch how did harley die? i had an orange and white cat named oliver that died of leukemia when he was five. i now have a tuxedo cat named mimi, but she has a black patch on her chest. those cats are beautiful!
@MissMaddy881 Harley was 13 when he died, he had a problem with his liver and he lost a lot of weight. I did everything I could to help him be comfortable, and to eat, but it was progressive. He was a great cat, very different from the little Tuxedo I have now ( Mischief). Harley was sort of dignified and acted like a serious cat for the most part- Mischief still acts like a kitten at a year and a half- very cuddly, where Harley would let me pet him and then go in the other room to sleep LOL.
@badbearwatch ollie liked being held, but mimi only likes being held for a while. she's also very territorial and will hiss and growl at strange people. she will run any cats or dogs that come up to the house off, but she's sweet to us. she doesn't have a mustache. i hope you have many happy moments with mischief!
i just LOVE tuxedos...i had to put my precious boy Sammy down 2 years ago at age 15...he was the love of my life sick as that sounds...i still cry over him...would love to find another one but still have 2 other kitties & can't afford the vet bills...

Mischief is very fast running around here and very nimble, she lives up to her name for sure! She wakes me by pulling on a silver chain I wear- 15 minutes (sigh) every day before the alarm goes off- she is very insistent about it too! She doesn't bother me that way the rest of the time?
@badbearwatch Harley was 12 when I put this on YT, 2 years later he passed away from liver problems. He was a tremendous cat- I have a few videos of him here. i had a cat like this when i was a boy, his name was boots,he came tru a opening in the attick to my bed room ever night and slept in my bed,till he draged a dead rabbit into the attick and made 1000 maggots fall tru to everyones bed in my sis room,they blocked his passage,and i was heart broken, i loved that cat
LOL he brought you a trophy and that's how he got treated, poor cat and sorry your friendship got broken up there... Harley did some things to me but he was an indoor cat so he didn't get to have moments like that- sounds like something out of a movie, thanks for sharing that! I loved Harley and he caused his own special mischief too, he stole a burger once at my friend's house and brought it into the family room so he could watch TV and eat his burger - on the coffee table- he wasn't shy!

He's just called a domestic shorthair breed, usually black and white cats are also called tuxedo cats. I got him from the local pound when he was 3 months old, he's 14 now. Thanks for coming by to check him out!

Harley is sort of standoffish but he has enough guts to deal with me nicely 1st thing every morning, when I am the one who is not cuddly- I gotta love him just for that bravery, lol.

Our friend had a tuxedo cat, whom she named Gershwin.
She liked the musician of the same name, and my other friend thought Gershwin was a good name for a tuxedo cat.
He worked in the music business.
Everyone I know, who doesn't work in Emergency Care, works in the music business or with computers.
I like the little black spot on Harley's left front paw.

I like the black spot too but if you watch Tuxedo Cat First Movie, another video I put Harley in, he waves that spot at me like he's giving me a rude gesture... Gershwin would be a good name for a tuxedo! Harley originally I was calling him Harlequin,some folks in my family more and more called him Harley, so thats how that went.
