I do wear a mask too, a scherade of my life that I'm fine, yet so broken from within. A lot of us, whether it be sexual orientation, a bad marriage, whatever it is, have to somehow, hide and wear that "happy mask" cause we need to for the good of those we care so much. I am lost for words, crying, and missing the real me......it's gone.

My heart is so broken. I don't really hate him for being gay, it's just a disappointment that I believed in him so much and just had a different perspective of him. I have a big crush on him, I must admit. This song is really about his secret. I ache when I think about his struggle, I'm sure he's torn apart the first time he realized the truth. I love him for the human being that he is, compassionate, talented, very charismatic, and still so cute....God bless you!

oo yes! I totally agree! I prefer Natalie singing this song -especially since it has a very big meaning for her and it was the most personal song she wrote (it isn't just any ol' song for her). -but Clay did do a nice job singing it, its just different and sort of loses the original meaning of the song (she wrote it about her past struggle with bulimia -and I don't think Clay has an eating disorder lol!). He does have a nice voice for it, though...
