I dont want a slim! I want the original 60 gb. I have a slim and i am not proud of it, it is downgraded and really ugly, if i would have a 60gb i would hug it and be proud of it. Daamn, why did'nt i think of the ps3!!!
1. does not heat up as much (ex. the heat of the ps3 after 5 straight hrs. of usage is about equivalent to about 7-9 hrs straight hrs. of usage on the slim, also it cools after being turned off quicker (i think). 2. does not use a power brick so u won't have a hot power brick either

this is an awesome comparison, lots of info. i really want to buy ps3 slim, but i dont think it will make a diff, i have an 80 gb ps3. no linux, no diff.
my ps3 slim makes some buzzing noise help actually die so i can get a fat ps3
