It bothered me at the time, it bothers me today and it will bother me forever! I will never get over 01..never! Colorado didn't win the Cup that year, the Devils lost it. That's what hurts the most.

It was great that we came back two years later, but the loss in 01 hurts too much. It pains me to this day when I think about it.

what do you mean colorado didn't win it? Colorado was down 3-2 and won the last two games. they dominated in game 6 by winning 4-0, and won 3-1 in game 7. Colorado out played New Jersey in that series

@guitarz330 Actually the devils dominated that series after game 1. Game 6 they grab the lead but the refs disallowed the goal due to the Bourque factor. The devs had all the momentum and that disallowed goal took it all away.

I mean I think it's doubtful that he posts anything from the next two games; I don't think we scored in game 6, and it was just sykora with the one goal in game 7

Please skip game 7. I can't stand to watch the Avs win the cup. I can tolerate game 6 but not game 7. Too many bad memories.

yea, it sucks cuz i think this prob was the best team in devils history right here, everything was going right until the finals :(
