(contd...) I don't have a technical reason, but my cat when she does a low growl when confronted with another cat, will move her mouth open and shut, too. I don't know why. Maybe in preparation to growl or cry or something? Someone told me once that we all get a reaction like that with extreme fear like a taste of bile, almost metallic, that comes to the mouth in extreme cases. They have wondered if that is what animals are tasting in their mouths. Just throwing that out there.

@paulvideo05 you can repet sounds various times a day...i learned that if you speak to your cat in a delicate manner after she "talks" to you,after a while she gets used to this behaviour of yours and surprisingly she will talk to you. i have a blue russian kitty that is such a beloved one. she eagers to hold her into my arms and if i take her up,she kisses me all over my face until no spot is missing. i love my cat.
