Read the comments, and seeing ones like 'Never Meant is insanely hard to cover' makes me kinda proud cause we covered this song in a gig, and not to brag or anything, but it sounded awesome. And of course kudos to our drummer for being flawlessly in 6/4 time.

@tomeeedee -actually the riff itself isn't that hard at all but the timing is hard. the tuning is an open tuning i forget the exact tuning, search "american football never meant cover" on here and on the second or third page of comments if I remember correctly there was an comment that mentions the tuning.

Obviously American Football is sacred to a lot of people but people should just appreciate that covering songs that inspire you is the sincerest form of flattery and respect, and besides "Never Meant" is a sickening difficult song to cover, period. Transit nails it, like they do every week, and they obviously enjoy paying respect to bands and songs they dig, so no harm, no foul. Their version of "Never Meant" is killer, plain and simple. Respect.

@andrewgking86 That's not always true. Obviously it's not going to be perfect compared to the original, they're not American Football. I think Transit did a pretty damn good job anyway, they got the tuning right and everything. Yes, it's cool to see an artist put their own twist on a cover, but sometimes, they're just paying an homage to a band that influenced them. That's definitely the case here and probably the same with their other videos.
