  • I expected the comments to be a complete SHITSTORM of religious arguments...I'm pleasantly surprised :)

  • Buddha was born in Amerikuh yo, he got mad skillz

  • Those four things are explained very simply. Sin brought them into the world.

  • Not northern india. Have look on google map and reveal the reality about birth place of Buddha. Many people are misleaded about his birth place.

  • @manofcosequences,Nepal is not Hindu country anymore and its official

  • indians say they are hindu but infact india is a mixture of different religions and in their constitution, they describe india as mixture of religions

Talking about Nepal is infact that nepal is the only hindu country in the world and 90 percent of them are hindus>>>

  • @bhasinuscuscable Actually he is a Pakistani in disguise.

  • The buddha was reborn in the 13th Century and expounded the true path to enlightment for all human beings - Nam Myoho Renge Kyo

  • Buddha was a Prince from what is now known as Southern Nepal, not India!!! The Indians are Hindu's and sought to destroy Buddhism!

  • @2101silverstein Actually, India consists of Hindus, Buddhists, Jainists, Muslims and Christians, and most live in harmony with each other.

  • @2101silverstein who the fucckkk cares???

  • Lol he's fat

oh wait mrs saxton is comming

  • This seems to be a very supernatural view of Buddhism. I'm no scholar but from my understanding there are many, many Buddhists who - in the Western, supernatural view of religion - are not 'religious' so to speak.

  • he was a very sad prince

  • what a nice programme..BEST..100 %

  • correction 2,600 years ago!!! =p

  • The actor of siddartha has such nice facial bone structure

  • @honeyavocado lol! U need to meditate...cause ur distracted. Haha kiddin ;p

  • @Mohan,

budhha never claimed to be unique, that's the uniqueness of buddha.

    Peace. :)

  • is it ok to smoke ganja ?

  • @drspatt in buddhism or just anywhere

  • @drspatt Buddhists are not supposed to take intoxicants as per the five precepts. They distort the mind and make it difficult to practice right mindfulness. Your enlightenment is entirely up to you, however.

  • @RolandStGermain im sure buddha would approve of LSD

  • @pumitaproductions Um no, the Precepts expressly prohibit any mind altering drugs.

  • @RolandStGermain the precepts were made before LSD

  • @pumitaproductions The principle is the same. Don't use any substance to alter your mind. Buddhism is about perceiving reality in an unaltered way. Some forms of Hinduism don't mind the use of drugs.

  • @RolandStGermain no no no they were referring to alcohol. LSD is a tool for viewing the universe in an unaltered way. its like a forceful enlightenment. i dont expect you to understand, theres no possible way unless you actually do it. but since you havent, trust me that LSD is the real thing and buddha would definately approve.

  • @pumitaproductions you should watch Joe Rogan's DMT spirit molecule documentary on youtube. tell me what you make of it.

  • Much of what Buddha learned, karma, dharma, jnana, etc., are concepts from the Vedas. The Buddha was not unique in these.

  • @mohan0128 quite true, and he also didn't really found a religion either. that came after his death. and there wasn't a concept of non-hinduism, since there was no concept of hinduism at that time.

that's usually how religions are founded: followers proclaim that he was completely unique. but he was definitely an innovator.

also much of Buddhism's later advancements were imported and further developed in Advaita Vedanta

  • @timeblind yes, that is correct. While later interpretations of Advaita Vedanta leaned more toward bhakthi towards Hindu gods, the original Advaita of Adi Sankara seems to have borrowed heavily from Buddhist concepts in an attempt to validate these with the Vedanta concept of Brahman, maya, etc. In fact, some critics of Sankara's philosophy label his view as "prachanda bouddham" - pseudo Buddhism.

  • No he slipped off and picked some 'herbs' and then went on to talk madness lol.

  • @erzan makes some real sense. you're describing me not siddhartha. lol
