You take an very unfair look at the movie. First of all the tags used on the posters are clear cause dave gets in trouble and chipmunks cause trouble, they are friends and stars similar to entourage with funny moments and everything, the writers did a great job and co-writers are with every movie but not all are mentioned, some movies even have 6 or 7 writers where only the most popular are mentioned, and the voice overs - you need people with experience to make it sound good (tonation etc).
