I am currently working on a Scorpion for a Freind of mine. this is a great Video. only problem with it,is it is to short :)
this Scorpion still has the early cable head,which everyone tells you not to fly with and to upgrade.but from what I see,it looks like it flys ok to me.
JonnyTommyguns,these helicopters have not be produced since about 1980,the one I am presently working on is still in kit form. the guy that owns it had it listed for sale for $16,500.00 needless to say it has not sold. if you look around you can find a Scorpion complete for around $12,000, but then you will dump at least another $10,000 into it to upgrade it to where it will be fairly safe. E-mail me and I will be glad to tell ya more about these Helicopters and where to learn more.
how high can these things go?

beware of the tail belt drive system ,along with pitch control cable , they get me freak out

gettin a helicopter license sounds really hard though. its probably for good reason too. but is there an alternate way to fly like a sport class?

@dustywar Not true. Any experimental aircraft requires a license. Ultra-light aircraft do not. This is not an ultralight.
