Please, can someone comment the thing, that it sounds in minute 2:17 and up exactly like "i´m singing in the rain"??

From 2:17 to 2:42, it's clearly "Singing in the Rain". I think the arranger incorporated it into the song to create a thematically cohesive medley fox trot . The song was featured in the earlier movie musical "Hollywood Revue of 1929"

Because it is "Singing In The Rain." The same composers wrote that song. Not an uncommon thing...many dance arrangements do this. I wonder if this is a stock arrangement? I know the Bund record of "Get Hot Foot" definitely is.

Musically, it's counterpoint - playing a melody against another melody. It helps if they have the same harmony, which they do here.

In the 30s though, it was often used as a musical pun - bringing in a well-known tune with a theme related to the title tune. "Dancing on a Rainbow" -> "Singin' in the Rain".

Nice side. Superb sound for 1932. Pre-dates the British Crystalate sound improvement of 1934... Superior to EMI I think.

Probably IS 1934 actually. Song is from a US picture of '33, "Stage Mother," and a couple of records of it date from late that year.

Well, this Bund side is truly exceptional. However most of Bund's records are average dance stuff of the period. Some are even boring, but this is true of many German bands, and it is, of course, also a matter of taste. Thanks for commenting!
