  • @davefgranger Oh fuck you.

  • this is the little big planet narrator lmao.

  • @titanschill1984 -____-

  • I hate this phone and the apps that come out for it. This is a new one to add to my list. "Reasons why the iPhone is losing ground". Apple should start worrying about new features other phones have, rather than making the phone stand out more.

  • JUST BUY THE FUCKING BOOK AND READ IT. FUCK THIS FUCKING PHONE

  • And I gotta say that tapping noise is annoying. Interesting app though.

  • I swear that sounds like the guy from LBP.

  • @Drake14161337 He is the guy from LBP.

    Mind fuck?

  • Stephen Fry can I have your voice?

  • plz make it for android also :-(

  • The voice over sounds like the way an irritating smug uncle would explain something when you were 8 years old. The only thing missing was having your hair ruffled at the end, and you telling him to get off.

  • @GaylordFocher That's Stephen Fry...

  • That's awesome, but I'd be scared that I'd miss some of it.

  • It looks very nice.

  • Can I get this through the US App Store? It's a brilliant idea and has so many potential implications!

  • £7.99 fuck that

  • @ridz216 The book itself is like £20. The app's a bargain!

  • Can we use this app to format and publish our own books to the iPad, etc.?

  • So, where is the Android version?

  • i <3 Stephen Fry. Is there anything he can't do?

  • @rajadain I wish people would stop praising him for things he didn't do, I doubt Fry actually handcoded the app himself, probably the dedicated istore app team at Penguin did.

And what is the point of a book with no context?

  • @LeClassics Well of course he didn't code the app. It's even possible that the original idea was someone else's, and he simply decided to go along. But it takes open-mindedness to be involved in projects such as these, and to release something of great personal value (like an autobiography) in an untested format such as this. He is simply part of this experiment, and this makes a perfect addition to his life's achievements :)

  • @rajadain your right, he didn't code the app, nor did he design it. It was done by dare creative and stephanie posavec :)

  • @LeClassics Even if he didn't,Stephen is actually pretty good at writing code.He and Douglas Adams spent hours working on writing computer programs for their own amusement when he first got a computer and I doubt he's stopped progressing at what's been a long love affair with gadgets and computing.

  • Looks neat - and I guess the interface/navigation works for content like this [anecdotal] rather than long-form fiction.
