What a fantastic video. I am the proud owner of both a rottweiler mix and a great dane, both of which are sweet little babies. My rott would only lick someone to death! I do, however, beleive there are many "dangerous" breeds that are purchased or adopted and not nurtured and trained. We must remember that EVERY dog requires training, and the bigger the dog, the more training it requires. We must love them, and not label them.

My Am-Stat, Sheeba "The Baby", changed many peoples opinions about Pit Bulls. She lived 15 years, and spread lots of love to many children. We had this kind of problem in the UK, some crazies were calling for all big dogs to be slaughtered, sheer madness. I had a big German Shepherd Dog for 11 & 1/2 years, and I happily trusted him off the lead, in public, with kids and another animals, only people he disliked were rowdy drunks.

21k, no such thing as dangerous bloodlines, at least not with true APBTs. Most of them were bred to never turn a tooth towards a person. Now as for puppy farms, I agree with you. My home state has the dubious distinction of having the highest number of USDA-regulated dog breeding operations (aka puppy mills).

the problem is clearly puppy farms selling dogs with dangerous bloodlines. A lot of people that own dogs simply dont care about them either. Maybe you should deter people from buying these dogs unless they have experience which is probably the reason why dog attacks happen - a lack of experience.

I have grew up around pitts and all my kids have my parents breed em and go threw extensive background checks and frequent home visits after there puppies sell to make sure they are safe,but yet people call the dog bad some nerve. Also we have had a dog that was previously owned by an abusive man and in the end what took his life was cancer he was the perfect friend and conferter to me as a young adult and when i had my first child he acted as though she was his and nothing would happen.

I made a shirt that on the back reads "Say no to Breed Specific Discrimination" and on the front it has a picture of a pitbull and reads "If it were humans it'd be called Racisim". I volunteer for Florida Boxer Rescue.Soon I will hopefully be taking part in Pitbull Rescue, though I don't own any...yet. My german shepherd Buck is so loyal and sweet.. He follows me everywhere and is so loving and afriad of some things but he is so kind.. these people are jerks...

It makes me so angry to think that lawmakers are not going after the real problem- owners. You can breed a dog to be docile and harmless, but people can also breed a dog to be vicious- despite its breed.
