If you can't even hover the rc chopper then its either:

a) a cheap peice of carp

b)not properly setup and/or trimmed out.

Setup is like 70% of how to get a stable use able rc heli.

Do you have to time your flights so you don't run er out of juice and loose all control?

@ILTSYC The batteries that Bert is using can be charged at 5c, and therefor can be charged in about 10-15 minutes with a high power charger. Most chargers can't charge at such rates, and therefor you're looking at about an hour charge. You do need to time your flights - as with any heli/plane, nitro or electric.

My younger Brother swears that Nitro is better, I swear that Electro is better (Both tuned to the "max"). We both flew each others helis to make ourselfes a picture of the other side. But we are still convinced that what we think is better. Would like to know what some top pilots are thinking about this!?!?!

@fifmasta Hi, I'm not quite a "top pilot" but I have a lot of 3D experience under my belt with both nitro and electric. Personally, I feel that electric has better perfomance, but nitro is much more convenient. I fly mostly nitro because you get longer flight times, and because you can go fly whenever you want without having to worry about having charged batteries. All in all, it's really just a matter of opinion. Nitro - Longer flight time, back to back flights Electric - more power

@TheGhillesuitman To fly upside down, you use negative pitch. And he isn't actually flying sideways. He's going back and forth between positive and negative pitch. It's called a tick tock. As he goes back and forth, the heli is leaning either direction just enough to get some thrust angled down, and create lift. He's never actually staying sideways.
