But a tribe from senegal do not called sky by the word Zulu. What i think they was trying to say is that the language followed a root an the people only change it up a lil bit which would be the equation of slang which really is just a lil bit of changes in a language. Plus everybody comes from africa so if human beings started in lets say kenya they spread out from bottom...top and left and right how much would the language change frm those area

I understand your disdain for the word bantu. it might be link to your somalia origin. The word means slaves and is basically pejoratif in your country. But for most of us, the more than 1000 tribes with an inter-comprehensive languages and culture similarities its means simply HUMAN BEING and No whites people created for us.

@miraegye the people from the horn of africa call all other africans "bantus".so if all africans are bantus, why would there be a "bantu migration"? we are the vast majority of the african continent; they are just using these tricks to confuse your minds and you have bought into it...i am positive that there were not africans all over the continent calling each other "bantu" before this guy coined the term; if i call humans "people" does that mean i can now be labeled as a race called "people'?

@maaruz1979 Then that's where you have a problem, you people from the horne africa. Zulu means sky in zulu and it means sky in KiKOngo and both are bantu language. But a tribe from senegal do not called sky by the word Zulu. Zulu people are located in south africa and baKongo people are located in both Kongo and Angola more than 1500miles distance between these two tribes but definetely in the same familly language;BANTU. We even used the same word for chief or Lion;NKOZI or NKOSI.

The amazigh people(berber) are a mosaic of many tribes from marocco to egypt , mali mauretania,burkina faso and niger included.Blacks(touareg) and whites,different languages but AMAZIGH.

@maaruz1979 And finally NOT all blacks from africa are BANTU. From south cameroon to kenya and a part of zambia and malawi tribes used the word Nkum(or Nkumu) for some type chiefs and some used the word NFumu for other types of chiefs. You'll find many words in swahili which are also used in lingala(both bantu languages). Do not call all northern africans arabs,the same should be apply to sub-saharan people; Not all blacks are Bantu.And we do not categorize ourselves as a race.My final point.

That is a major sign of progress because Caveman of Europe went from Stone, Bronze....then to Iron. Why blacks did not advance to the gun of sub Sahara was because the great desert...and then the Spanish attack alot of city's who were trade routes so the link of trade was destroyed. So Middle and southern Africa became isolated.

I think what she was saying was w/ reference to the fact that some white south Africans use to claim that the Blacks migrated from up north and, the land was unoccupied when they arrived...
