How bout u guys just play free Pre-Uor servers with old school kickass UO PvP, I have a server I like but I wont only advertise it, Ill advertise several.

Lets see there is UO2ndAge, UOGamers Divinity, and Metropolis.

There are a few more old school shards up but theyre all smaller.

Do they still have alot of members? I have played up until two years ago from playing at the beginning in 97. I am looking to get into the game again, but just dont want to log in to a UO world with no one around.

UODivinity is probably your best choice for Pre-Trammel UO. I play it, and it's quite enjoyable, though there are some illiterate and immature players who love insulting everyone. :) I'm a Grandmaster Fisherman/Miner/Blacksmithy/Lu­mberjack

LoL @ vexx303....WoW has crap graphics....its because its such a fun game to play and the fact its based off the warcraft lore it was so succesful...vanguard had pretty grapgics...how did that do

Yeah and that time was nearly 6 years ago now. I am amazed that they are still trying to squeeze juice out of this 10 year old platform. (Essentially a re-hash of the Pagan engine that has been around since 1994.)

Usually, someone will see it as 2D, and just say its crap. Thing is, Alot of you have been paying for ISO, and all the people paying for 9 years, and they come up with this now...What have they really been doing with the money for this long...Its not hard to program/script art/fruit/etc.

Would take a good 2 minutes with the kind of programs they have...

It is precisely because they were able to MARKET their product to casual gamers, fans of the series and people liking WOW's graphics, which has made their product such a success.

Please consider your own responses carefully before labeling other people idiots for theirs.

I hope the fix the character animation. It looks like it has that UO3rd dawn slide to it. Timing needs to be adjusted. I know he is on horse, but still. If your character is stopped, you shouldn't see animation of the characters walking.

Come beat me then. I have a lot of time and money invested in this game. I just hope they don't fuck things up. They need to stay away from trying to do what warcraft does. What brought people into warcraft was better marketing. WoW is no differnt from the other crappy MMO's. They just had better marketing.
