Their actually a very good representation of an 80s couple--well groomed, wholesome and mature. If you werent there you have to understand the 80s were the pinnacle of what we would become. The period of time we are in now is significantly degraded comparitively. People have little manners, try to look disheveled so they can be 'cool' and are about as far from wholesome as a cocktail waitress on an oil rig. If you werent in the 80s you wont understand the 80s--2009 is hideous in comparison.

i don't think this is from 1989, this must be from the 1990-91 season because at 8:55-9:00, that red heart (upper right) was put back in 1990 after the pink-blue-gray heart was there from 1988-90.

and the background behind the guest coming being introduced was mostly very light pale blue with a little pink on the bottom left of the screen; not like this one that has more pink mixing with blue during the 1990-91 season throught the background although blue is still easily seen.

And a set of blue floodlights are seen by the LC monitors; a pink floodlight is seen by the bootom violet heart which is the one behind where Chuck is sitting at; and there are floodlights by the other three hearts on the set; And BTW, when the floodlights 1st came along in late 1989, they were brighter than they were in the 1990s eps. and in 1989, you still saw shades of white on the walls of the set.
