okay I wrote Annabelle on myspace in appreciation for her cover of Mason Jennings song and she replied: "Thanks for the comment. I actually wrote that song, and performed it here with my former band the Wailin' Jennys. Glad you like it!

WOW! But I really shouldn't be surprised. Annabelle is such a warm-hearted, beautiful soul to have written a song as moving as that. I saw her live recently and was blown away. I've had her new album for a few weeks now and can't seem to stop listening to it.

I just got a reply from Annabelle and she confirmed that it WAS a Mason song and that she only performed it that once with Rose and never with the Jennys. You must be confusing this with something else. It sure was a lovely cover she and Rose did on that other video.
