I was there. Best Smiths gig I went to, the night before they played 10 years of punk at Manchester Gmex and got on the guest list thanks to Johnny Marr. I seeem to remember the stage collapsing at the end of the night. Magical magical days

Christ I remember the documentary 'punk ten years on'. A decade felt like a lifetime back then, I was only fourteen! Now we look back ten years and it seems like yesterday! '86 is 22 years ago: un-fucking-believable. 22 years back from 86? 1964, the Beatles... Weird.
