I Fly for Qantas and i am based out of Auckland New Zealand. Even though i am a New Zealandr i love Qantas and its strong spirit of Australia logo. It has to do with the role the airline played in the settlement of australia. It broght together many rural and isolated areas. If you do some research into how the name QANTAS originated, you;ll see what i mean. I was very surprised.

I Loved this. I travel every 4 weeks on an airline and is usually Overseas to Africa. I like Emirates but I traveled Inter State with QANTAS and loved that experience. As an Aussie to an Aussie, Well Done.

Continued ---- everyone knew of Qantas, the only long time running airline in the world without a crash. Times have changed since Qantas became owned by others, who were able to bypass our unions and have the planes serviced in less quality demanding countries.

Funny enough I believe it to be an African song.

What is not good is that Qantas is not owned by Australians anymore, and is no longer under the regime of strict plane servicing procedures.

A friend of mine has been a L.A.M.E. since the 70's. I spend my late teens and adult life listening to the safety regimes of Australian Airline planes (Ansett, Qantas, and TAA). The airlines did not have accidents. Other than Qantas, the two others were domestic and the world didn't know about them.

My dream is to be a flight attendant for QANTAS one day!

every little movie i watch on youtube of QANTAS gives me chills, and sometimes even tears coz it has been a huge dream of mine since i was 11 years of age!

i even wrote a speech about my ambition to become a flight attendant in year 8 and presented it to over 40 people in the room, but i was proud to say that it is what i want to do :)

Qantas don't operate Boeing 757's or 777's. Though currently he fly's the Boeing 767, but he's doing a conversion to the Airbus A330 in february.
